The longest I have waited for a burger after sitting down. Come prepared with good conversation or a game. Buffalo burger and wagyu burger were great. The salad was surprisingly good and the pies were divine.Bob and the food are both an experience. I wish he hired another employee, but Bob is an experience so not sure how u can have him take ur order and prep the food at the same time. Good things take time.

I never do this but it was the worst dining experience I've had in a very long time. We ordered the fish and chips and the Buffalo burger, and asked for them to go because we wanted to get back to our campsite before sunset. Two hours later and we still had nothing in front of us. Bob is kind, sure, but he consistently and repeatedly was forgetting items we asked for, and orders from other tables. Forgive me, but the guy seemed sky high on pain meds. Every time we asked about our food he said it would be worth the wait, it's the best food in town, and this kind of food takes a long time. Yet at one point the chef left the kitchen for like... 30 minutes? No one back there. I've been in the restaurant industry for years and in no way is any of this acceptable. It does not take two hours to prepare either of these meals. We were hoping the wait would be worth it, as promised. Unfortunately, not the case. We asked for our burger cooked rare, and it wasn't even close to pink in the center. Honestly, it was tough and awful. My fish in the fish and chips was wet. Like, soggy. And somehow despite our burger being overdone and our food just having arrived, it was lukewarm. We threw away the fries, which were absolute garbage. There is, simply put, no excuse for any of this, and it essentially ruined our evening to spend that amount of time waiting for soggy, overcooked, lukewarm, shitty food, half of which we threw out. Maybe they were having an off day but it sure did ruin our night.

When we walked in the people checking out told us “hope your not in a rush because this place is extremely slow” then we got seated and expected a bit of a wait but an hour and a half later when the people that come in behind us were finished eating their food and no one had checked on us and my husband said it looks like they are cleaning the kitchen we decided to leave. Not even sure they noticed us gone. They weren’t that busy not at all really. But they are definitely under staffed. I will say that everyone else food looked amazing but I can’t speak on how it would taste. Sooooooo disappointed and now hungry for real

This meal felt as though you are a guest in a home. A dining experience like you don't get anymore. Family run with friendly service, stories, and kindness. You can tell there is real care in cooking the food. The bison burger and waygu burger are outstanding. Save room for dessert as those are also so good. You'll feel right at home!

5 stars just because this place is insane. Absolutely chaotic. I guarantee you will experience the slowest service of any restaurant within a 100 mile radius. The owner, Bob, is a character. We were here on a busy night, and spent most of our time talking with all the tables around us about what we were experiencing. We walked in and Bob told us to look at the menu (spoiler... he's going to tell you what to order and if you want a beer, he's choosing that for you too). After we sat down, he handed us a pack of cards and explained how he thinks people should socialize while eating (rather than starting at their phones)... true. He was likely trying to distract us, because he knew it was going take forever for our order to come out. The food is surprisingly good. The buffalo burger was much better than whatever I had expected. Bob really tried to hype us up with his pie selection, but we never got to order because he went missing on us. This is a one man show. If you're in a rush, this is not your place. If you have nothing going on, are in no rush, and are looking for a little bit of chaos, this may be your place.

This is such a nice, warm and friendly place. It’s down to earth. I have been here twice with some colleagues from Germany it has always been such a nice experience. It’s not your normal restaurant and it will certainly leave an impression. The food is great, I’d recommend the Wagyu Burger (and don’t put sauce on it ;)). Also the cake is worth trying. Also Bob is a very funny and nice guy.
