I was disappointed in this place. It seriously needs a remodel or interior design change. Everything feels run down and the inside feels muggy. Food tasted bland which is surprising. I usually really like Barbacoa but this specific location had me disappointed.

I am very annoyed with this Barbacoa. I have ordered three times and I have never, never asked for pinto beans. I hate pinto beans. And three times I’ve gotten pinto beans. I can’t even begin to tell you how frustrated I am after trying to call these people and let them know they ignored my choice of ingredients. They didn’t answer; then after my third call it’s like they some how they took the phone offline. Pay attention to your customers choices. And if you don’t have black beans, don’t substitute without confirmation because you could be giving people something they are allergic to and unaware they’re eating. Or you could be giving them something that pisses them off because they freaking hate the ingredient.

I got a sweet honey pork salad. I liked the overall flavor quite a bit. The dressing was also unique and tasty. The pork itself didn’t have a ton of flavor but it was still good. Not the quantity that you might get at Cafe Rio but still a nice lunch. The workers were friendly and service was fast.
Barbacoa pork burrito, enchilada style. The food tasted wonderful and so fresh, the employees were very friendly and gave great suggestions. Loved it!

This place was pretty rough.There were stacks of napkins and foil trays out on the tables. The staff was unenthusiastic and not very welcoming.I ordered a steak burrito with chips and Queso.The Queso was grainy like it sat in a warmer all day and got too hot.The Cilantro was brown on the edges and the rice was under cooked and hard.I literally had to search for the steak in my burrito.I may have come on a very bad day, but this was not a good experience
