Food is what it’s always been. Consistent. It’s pretty good for what it is. Service is very very friendly! They are always understaffed but the staff is doing their very best and deserve all the praise in the world. Now the bad. The west valley location, always and I mean the last 12 times we’ve eaten inside over the course of the last two years, smells like raw sewage and fabuloso cleaner. Whether you like that cleaner or not it is a strong smell and it will interfere with the food smells you should be smelling. The raw sewage is wild. Please please someone call a plumber. We really like coming in but it’s gross.

Since the remodeling and COVID, the prices have gone up immensely while the service has gotten slower.This used to be a go-to for my family. Now, it has to be special occasions because $70 (without tip) is a lot for a casual eatery for 3 people.

We used to go here all the time when my kids were young. And it was cozy and food was very good. They did some remodeling. I felt like I was eating in an operating room. We had to wait nearly an hour for our food. All these poeople that came in after us were getting their food before us. The bun on my hamburger was stale. Makes me sad.

They did recently re model and get new management, but it is severely lacking as an improvement. I grew up eating from Hires, and I don't know what happened. I think the food gods just seams to have taken away a blessing or two.

Not sure why the rating is so low ?!but seriously this place is soo good !! Highly recommend it their avocado burger was the best I’ve had. It all tasted and looked fresh first time going there but for sure will be my new burger joint! They even have cute little root beer things so you can make your own at home! So you know I got one! ? recommend!

I always and forever will love Hires Big H. They have great service and great food! The employees here do a great job managing under stress and are very friendly. Also, since this place was remodeled, it looks super cool! Will totally be going back again!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp leading up to the door. Very practical for all-around accessibility.

I love Hires! Their burgers always hit the spot and the garlic bread is my favorite. I love that they promote other small businesses like the peaches and ice cream. It was to die for! Sometimes the service is a little slow but worth the wait.

First of all, the smell walking in was nasty, the service was slow and order was not correct, upon leaving I used the nastiest restroom I have ever seen ( the toilet was FULL of urin) ironically, the full nasty toilet as the cleanest part of the bathroom. I like Hires but never again at that location, NEVER!!
