Been here twice already, great service and amazing food. Large portions, got the pupu chicken ant katsu chicken. Chicken was juicy and crispy. Highly recommend!

I lived in St. George When Island Grinds opened down there and I can confirm the quality of food is the same at this location. Always great food and huge portions. You cannot go wrong with any menu options but I love their pupu chicken and lemon chicken. The teriyaki beef is also really good.As with all the Island Grinds the restaurant vibes are great and the store is clean! Feels like home cooking and like a family owned business!Parking: Never had an issue with finding a parking spot but I bet it gets busy at peak hours and it isn’t the biggest parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Only one curb to get in the store but I believe there is a spot to enter with out needing to take a step up.

Fresh food way better than all the other Hawaiian restaurants nearby. They are authentic and actual Hawaiians cooking the food even makes it better. There was a little wait time after the order was taken but it’s expected when fresh delicious food is being made! 5 stars from me!

I had to wait for over 30 minutes for my food wasn’t worth it. If I didn’t have a gift card I would come over this place.

This place has great food but their service sucks, they don't answer their phones and they don't follow their schedule. This is their third time for me, I called and called to order a pickup no answer so I drove up their on my lunch and their not even open. With other Hawaiian restaurants across the street for them they lost my business.

I used to go there 3-4 times a week. But now they cook a batch of chicken and let it sit until a customer orders it. So for three times in a raw I was given a cold teriyaki chicken. And it doesn't matter what time you go there, I went at three different times of day and got cold chicken anyway. Don't waste your money, it's not worth it!

If you have a Tongan appetite and cannot get to a Tongan food restaurant this is easily another great option. Large portions, comparably priced, and excellent customer service. We always order the pupu chicken. You can't order that anywhere else and even if it was available elsewhere, this pupu chicken is tough to beat! I love their kalbi ribs! Their food is rich with flavor! And for a snack we get their yummy musubi. Garlic shrimp is delicious as well. There are beautiful bright murals on the walls which really give the place an island vibe. They also play good music. The tables are clean but the texture to them is a little sticky which I don't love but it wouldn't keep me away from this place. Also drink selections are yummy we always get the pineapple soda. We live 15-20 minutes away so it's a little bit of a drive but worth it. Wish they had a 2nd location in downtown SLC.

I seen Island Grinds on TikTok & the thirty minute drive sure didn’t disappoint! I had the two meat plate (pupu chicken & kalbi ribs) it was delicious! The crispness of the chicken with the marinate of the kalbi ribs & topping it off with their sauce they make in store was just amazing! Also to top it off it’s Polynesian owned so the atmosphere was great, made you feel like you were eating food at your mom/aunties house!
