Came here based on the yelp reviews and it did not disappoint. Best Mexican food I've had in a long time. Service was wonderful too. Every member of their staff we encountered was so kind. If you're in Abingdon or passing through, stop here!

First time here, didn't know about the salsa bar till asked for something besides the bean stuff. The white salsa, I think, tasted more like a spicy ranch. The fish tacos looked really good but the fish was chopped up instead of one nice piece, more breading than fish and way to much lettuce for me. The quesaddilla was the big one with steak, shrimp and chicken and cheese. Some pieces of steak was chewy. They have been trying to put in in Elizabethton, if it ever shows up, we might try again.

This restaurant is within sight of my motel and I noticed that the parking was practically full every night so it must be good. They have a few locations in the area. I went and ordered the salmon. There was so much of it that I could not eat it all. Service is friendly and fast. The second time I went I ordered the chicken and the third time the shrimp. This was within a 6 day period. Music is playing all the time. The salsa bar is free and has variety of salsa. I only took one picture of the shrimp meal.

Our Server didn't seem like he understood English or he refused to accommodate slight changes in the menu items, He refused to get drink request, because it wasn't on the drink menu. He also didn't want to order a simple enchilada for a child with an allergy. I gave the 5 stars, because the food was great and the overall atmosphere was great.

I absolutely love this restaurant, and go here all the time. I have always had excellent, friendly, and speedy service. The food is always superb with fantastic portions. The atmosphere is very nice and upbeat, and they even have a kids night....kids eat for free and they have a guy that goes from table to table tying balloon animals for free for the kids. He does accept tips, however, and deserves to be tipped in my opinion for the amazingly creative work he does and the friendly, happy experience he provides for the children.
