Friendly folks and great food! I will be back!Parking: The diner is in a strip mall. The lot is usually packed, but folks are always coming and going, so spaces are readily available.

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Alexandria, Virginia, look no further than Beeline Diner. From the moment me and my sister stepped through the doors, we were swept up in an atmosphere that perfectly blends nostalgia with modern sophistication. The old classic music was so inviting. But it wasn't just the ambiance that made our visit remarkable; it was the exceptional service we received that truly set Beeline Diner apart. Our servers, David and Jeff, were the epitome of professionalism and warmth. David greeted us with a smile that instantly made us feel welcomed, and his recommendations from the menu were spot-on, guiding us through an array of delicious choices. Jeff's attention to detail didn't go unnoticed either; he ensured our glasses were never empty and our table was always neat, all while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor. The food, oh the food! It was a culinary journey that delighted our taste buds at every turn. Each dish was prepared to perfection, bursting with flavors that are both familiar and excitingly new. The chefs at Beeline Diner clearly know their craft, and their passion for food shines through in every dish served. But what truly sets Beeline Diner apart is the seamless teamwork between David and Jeff. Their coordination and genuine care for our dining experience were evident, making our meal not just a dinner but a memorable event. It's rare to find such dedicated and enthusiastic staff who can make dining out feel like a celebration. In conclusion, Beeline Diner is not just a restaurant; it's a destination. Whether you're a local or just passing through Alexandria, this gem is not to be missed. Thanks to David, Jeff, and the entire team at Beeline Diner, I'm already looking forward to my next visit. They've not just earned my highest recommendation; they've won a loyal customer.

I went to Beeliner a couple of days ago and it was outstanding. With the many options on the menu that sounded very tempting I decided on the short-rib hash. Tough for me to ever pass up hash, and even though I’m partial to corned beef hash this was among the best I’ve had, …, and I have had a lot over the years. The coffee was very good as well (had the Americano). I got some deserts to take home for the family and each was a hit - Apple pie, key lime pie, cheesecake, and an amazing slice of the huge tower chocolate peanut butter cake. The service was very good as well with the wait staff being very friendly but not in your face. Beeliner is a great concept done right and if the owners keep it as it is this should be come a neighborhood staple. Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience.

Burgers tasted almost chemically bad and milkshakes were 10 dollars! And for that price you would expect a good shake but it tasted like milk, which for a strawberry shake isn’t good, do not come here

Really helpful staff that got our large group seated and fed quickly. Chicken Buffalo salad was delicious.

Came for breakfast my first visit and enjoyed it. Returned for lunch today and was completely underwhelmed. My cheese curds were more like small mozzarella bites served with tomato sauce, albeit a giant portion. Chose not to take home.Ordered a Greek chicken salad and received 1 small skewer with 5 bites of very dry, small, almost crispy bites of grilled chicken. The guy behind the bar was pleasant but didn't even ask how my food was until I was paying the check. I was honest and told him it was underwhelming. No response. $32 for lunch where I barely got any protein was not a good value. Doubtful I'll return again.

This was my first time visiting. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. The homemade desserts looked amazing. Our orders were incorrect and our server was slightly defensive that she hadn't made an error and I wasn't clear. But then she realized she entered exactly what I ordered and it was a kitchen mistake -OOPS! My companion ordered a sandwich without tomato and the diced tomatoes were throughout the sandwich. They did remake our orders but that took more time than we expected. My fiesta salad with chicken was good. We ordered dessert to go and instead of 2 desserts, our server thought I wanted 2 or each dessert. ??‍♀️ Again, I was met with defensiveness and I decided to just bring the desserts home to family (made for an expensive lunch for one!). The chocolate cream pie was good but it was evident it had been sitting a few days. The strawberry cream cake was forgettable. No one in my family --kids included-- finished their portion. I will give it another chance because my companion had good experiences here and found the owner very kind and eager to cater to customers.Kid-friendliness: Comfortable diner atmosphere

I want to write a raving review of this place so bad. It is such a fun and sweet atmosphere with tons of things I want to try- like the breakfast shots and the milkshakes! Oh and also the pies! (I had the peanut butter pie and want to go back for another slice right now. It was so good). But, I had a benny and it was good! But the eggs came out cooked all the way though. I usually do scrambled eggs, and am just starting to get into fried eggs and poached eggs, and I like Benedict’s, but not boiled eggs. The server was kind and offered to make new ones, so I took her up on it, but the next ones had a lot of wet white parts still. Maybe I have unrealistic expectations for Benedict’s, or maybe the white part should be cooked a little more. To be honest, I’m not sure.Nonetheless, the dish was still good apart from the eggs, and this place is really cute and has comfy seating and looks like a place that would be calm and not weird to go to by myself ;), so if I lived a little closer I would probably make it my go to spot. Management also seemed great. We were checked in on multiple times and felt very wanted.
