Generally everything was good, I just wasn't as happy as I'd like to be for spending about $50 pp with tip for a beer, dinner, and shared appetizers. I will try to visit again and try the pho. Service was relatively quick. The place is very small and won't seat partial parties. It got quite crowded so be prepared.

Cozy Vietnamese hotspot featuring incredible pho, stir fry, and sandwiches. Foodie heaven with a great selection of wines. Vegetarian pho exceeds expectations. Come here for small celebrations with friends, catching up with family, or first dates!Wheelchair accessibility: Stairway entrance, a couple steps.

This is quite possibly one of my top three favorite spots in Old Town! We live in the neighborhood and on average we've probably eaten here the most. Every single meal I've had here has left me leaving with a smile (never disappointed) and the food is authentic. The staff are so nice and service is quick and efficient.I'd specifically recommend trying the original banh mi and my favorite, the bun (vermicelli) bowls with either chicken, pork, or beef. The Vietnamese iced coffee is also absolutely delicious and rich, almost like an iced mocha.

Meal evaluation compared to price. It's a really great restaurant. One of the best sandwiches you can enjoy under $20. The Vietnamese baguettes taste better than most breads I've tried in Paris, France, and the Vietnamese coffee is also highly recommended. Even if it's cold, iced coffee is recommended. For the banh mi sandwich, grilled fork is recommended. It tastes really crazy. It's too clean and doesn't ruin your taste buds with too much sauce.

Wow the best vegan viet food I have ever had! The food was absolutely amazing and it tasted so good! The service was over the top good. They really went the extra mile for their service! And the decor in the place was super duper cool! I will def be back here, will be my go to place! We got all vegan pho, banh mi, and spring rolls and rice vegan dish! The prices were also very fair for what we paid!

Ahhh! I can't get this amazing meal out of my mind. A dear friend was in town and we wanted to eat somewhere in downtown Alexandria. Out of a couple of options she chose this one based on the ramen on the menu as it was a cold night. We arrived around 6, which was great as the restaurant was not filled up at all, except for two other tables. Service was very friendly and we were waited on right away. We couldn't choose our meals on the menu as everything looked great. We both couldn't help but order the same thing which was the vegan lemongrass soy chicken tofu vermicelli bowl which came with oyster mushrooms in a caramel soy sauce. It just sounded like the best dish on the menu. We also ordered the tamarind rolls to share and the hot lotus tea. All 3 were amazing! I loved the bowl and pretty much inhaled it. It was a great portion size and so tasty. I liked that they put a crispy spring roll into the bowl as well. The tea was soothing on a cold night and the tamarind rolls tasted fresh and light. It was a really great meal overall! The restaurant itself is very cozy and cute, but I do take one star off for the noise. Around 7 PM the restaurant got incredibly noisy and it was really hard to hear each other. It's just a really cozy small space which makes for nice ambience, but not so great when the restaurant is packed. So I would recommend coming at unpopular meal times. I look forward to coming back here!

Great food, great service at a fair price. You couldn't ask for more. This is the best pho I've had in a very long time.

Tried Caphe Banh Mi for the first time after GW Birthday Parade. They were soooo busy but the service was excellent. No waiting for our food, refill on drinks empty plates pick-up. The food was delicious and inexpensive. Will definitely go back and highly recommend it.

These sandwiches are seriously so delicious! It's a small restaurant but there's outdoor seating when the weather is nice. It's nothing pretentious, just really good food and quick service in a casual environment.

Still delicious.Noodles: 9 - These noodles tasted like they were freshly made in the back. So spongey and delicious. Would have been a 9.5 but there was just not a lot of them so i'm docking .5 points.Meat: 9.5 - SO Fresh and tasty. They have grilled ribeye and filet mignon.. need i say more?Veggies/other: 10 - standard lime, beansprouts, jalapenos, and basil - but these looked and tasted so fresh and this is a this is a REAL sriacha establishment. No complaints at all.Vibe/ambiance: 9 - A little small, and some interesting/cool decor. Great service too. Of the three Vietnamese restaurants that do plant-based Bahn Mi sandwiches, Caphe Bahn Mi does them the best. The bread is crispy and the textures and taste are great. They make it quickly and it’s an easy sit down meal or quick street food as you get back to enjoying King St and it’s supporting streets.
