Amazing dining experience to the finest. Impeccable service. Everything was state of the art. Chef Guo is the famous celebrity Chef in China. The restaurant location isn’t that nice but when you see the restaurant set up is stunning. Tasty and delicious food. Expensive but worth to try.

AMAZING experience! The interior is beautiful with the kind of decorations and tableware traditionally served for royalty. Chef Guo is renowned for his Beijing restaurant and has a wealth of experience and training. The dishes are incredibly intricate and show off the Chef's intelligence, skill, experience and precision. Each dish is thoughtfully put together and every element has purpose while being very respectful to each individual ingredient. The setting is intimate with very few tables, and the staff happily accommodated a surprise wedding proposal which made a very special evening for everyone. This is really unlike any other dining experience I've had, and I think everyone needs to enjoy this incredible experience and support Chef Guo.

I had an amazing experience at ChefGuo from the moment I stepped into the restaurant till the moment I left. The service at this place is beyond amazing. Every gesture was with a professional touch and a warm smile. They tirelessly refill your water glasses and re-steep your tea. They clean your tabletop if it's in any way dirty. They even give you hand warmers on your way out! Every dish seems like a art and so delicious, it's better than any Michelin restaurant I've ever tried. It's a perfect place for any special occasion.

This was on par or better than even some of the finest restaurants in DC. It was 16 courses that included wagyu and lobster and it was far cheaper than I expected for the some of the absolute best food and service I've had in the greater DMV area.

Awesome dinner at Chef Guo! We are going back in June. We got white glove service (really and due to COVID). Each dish was exquisite in appearance (art with food) and delicious. You enjoyed each course then awaited with joy, what was next. You will eat typical foods and some unusual ones. Make a reservation then sit back and enjoy. The staff was friendly and made sure we are well taken care of when dining with them. There were some hits and misses but the overall experience was great. It was compelling enough for me to write my first ever review.
I've been wanting to try Chef Guo for a long time and I was not disappointed. Beautiful and artistic presentation and design as well as lovely staff. The food is very elegant and a worthwhile experience. My favorite was the signature black bean noodles and lobster dish. Would recommend for the experience of Chinese Banquet cuisine

The food was on par with or better than other Michelin starred restaurants we have visited, but the service, location and exterior was jarring. One more positive COVID note: there was only Chef Guo and a server at the restaurant. both were always masked, and distanced when possible. There were no other diners when we were there. Overall a very positive experience. Would visit again and recommend to others

This Chinese celebrity chef brings his Imperial banquet cuisine to West Alexandria. In an unpretentious strip mall, Chef Guo serves incredibly ornate and delicious masterpieces. We enjoyed 16 courses served by very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Definitely a special occasion event.
