Tried this on a week night and got 3 tacos, the chicken steak, the pork belly and the chorizo! They were some of the best tacos I’ve ever had if not THE best tacos. The portions, flavors and presentation were absolutely perfect!! I also got the guac and chips and they were to die for! The guac was very fresh and flavorful.I can’t wait to start making this my new local spot and try everything on the menu!Dietary restrictions: They were also very accommodating and helpful in explaining all of the options for both vegetarian and dietary restrictions

I've tried a few times and it has been overall disappointing. The space is chill and service was friendly and fast but food did not shine. Fish didn't taste fresh. No sauce or salsa game. Queso instead of melted cheese on the nachos - reminded me of movie theater stuff. Didn't grill the taco tortillas. Small things that could elevate the experience. I like their spin on the Cali burrito.

We really like this place. It's the perfect hole on the wall taco joint. The pork belly tacos are a favorite, along with the California burrito. Lots of cold beer and other drink options make it a must try.

10 out of 10 take out experience. Service was amazing. The hostess double checked everything in our massive order to ensure it was correct before we left (it was!). She was so kind and even offered us a drink while we waited. The food was delicious!

Great neighborhood restaurant! Their tacos are a good size and they have other great options! I highly recommend the nachos with chorizo or pork belly.
Interesting spot that purportedly was a chop shop back in the day. Has a great feel that reminds you of the location's history. I don't usually expect hip-hop in a taco joint, but it was okay. The service was great. I was attended to right away by the cheery staff who was quick to answer my questions about the menu, too. I had an order of chips and guac that were okay, but nothing to write home about. The brisket taco and the crispy pork belly taco were both outstanding, however!

This restaurant is great! The interior has a really cool vibe. The Gasolina Margarita is delicious and they pour it out of a jug of gasoline which was such a fun and unexpected touch!! The smashed guacamole and the pork belly taco were the two best food items I tried. Our server was very friendly :) Overall I would definitely recommend!

Coming from LA, I have a pretty high standard of what constitutes "Mexican Food". Chop Shop did a great job--Two tacos, plus chips, salsa, guacamole and a quesadilla to split, all tasty, fresh and authentic.I'll be back!

Food was good. About as good as you can expect from a taco shop not in the southwest states. My reason for 4 stars was a lack of TV. If you want to have your chips, salsa and cervezas while watching MNF, cant go here. I realize expecting to see a football game in a hot pink brick building is a long shot, but it is a factor to consider.
