I work at a cafe in the same plaza so I visit emma’s chicken often :) food is always fresh and delicious + the employees are always friendly— my go to is the quarter chicken meal with rice and yucca fries which is enough to make me stuffed with leftovers! I recommend calling ahead and taking out.

Delicious food (the chicken, the Lomo yum) , great service and I love that I get related like family every time I walk in the door. The owners here are great.

Rude and stingy. With so many Peruvian chicken spots around not smart to be cheap and stingy with your sauces. Undercooked overpriced and will never return.

Got the chance to finally try out this amazing Peruvian chicken spot! And WOW! It was definitely worth it! So tender and the green chile sauce was mildly spicy! The fries and rice perfectly complemented the chicken perfectly! Ask for sylvia cause she is the one running the show and is the greatest! She told me she is going 10+ years at that location and can see why they continue to thrive! PLEASE, do yourself the favor and go try this amazing chicken out!!

I had been coming to this place twice a week for lunch. My last visit I asked for extra sauce which is 25 cents per container. Unfortunately, I didn't have any coins or cash on me and they wouldn't allow me to pay with my card, so I offered to bring a quarter on my next visit. Do you know the woman up front refused to give me an extra sauce and declined my offer to pay a quarter on my next visit. You opted to decline me a 25 cent sauce and in the process you have lost a long time customer. Bad business and bad service. And a lack of appreciation for all the money I have spent at this place. All over a quarter! I couldn't believe it. I will never go back here. Nothing worse then a business that doesn't appreciate its customers. Im mad that I even gave this place so much money for them to decline me a 25 cent sauce. This woman literally sees me twice a week there for lunch and it meant nothing to her.

Very Dissappointed with the fact that i was charged $5 for a CAN INCA COLA & a 16oz EVERFRESH KIWI STRAWBERRY...I TRULY FEEL ROBBED FOR MY MONEY BECAUSE THE LADY ANSWERED TO ME THAT THINGS ARE EXPENSIVE NOW A DAYS LMAO!

Wow, based on the reviews I went out on a limb and purchased 2 whole chicken family meals and was EXTREMELY disappointed. This review is strictly on the food * Chicken lacked seasoning and there was a large hint of vinegar on my palette. That's all I could taste till now. Every single piece of chicken was red and raw all the way down to the bone. Some pieces were edible on top ... but again red and raw. The fries were almost brown and tasted like old oil- no taste -no crunch further the white sauce is super chunky!!! We all stopped eating and I had to whip up Something else to feed the kids. Being 1/2 Peruvian I know the authenticity of a true pollo a la brasa. $60 down the drain ... *photos same meal

Always fast always courteous and always delicious! I've been coming here for years. There are lots of different super chicken places in Alexandria but this one is a real gem. I recommend the Tres leches here as well!

Chicken very dry and cold.

Rotisserie is solid, fried yuccas are amazing. The sides are questionable , I ordered rice thinking I’d get some awesome Peruvian rice thing. It was literally just a heap of white rice.

Been here dozens of times. Simple take out Peruvian food. The chicken is so so so good. Always fresh and full of flavor. The yuca fries are good as well. A thick cut fry that is a very dense potato. The pupusas are delicious. Also fresh and hot. I've had the half chickens, the rice and beans, the pupusas, salad, the steak, The quesadilla, the fried and yucas, the side sauces. All are great. And so affordable as well. With the price and how much food you get, it's a great deal. The people working are always friendly and kind and work hard to make great food. You have to try this place.

I would love to say the food is delicious but when it closes at 8pm when online and the door says 9pm. Guess it won't get our Business.

Great food, good service. My favorite is their Lomo saltado, ceviche and empanadas.
