The actual food, a decent beignet (nutella) and salmon croissant. But the simple Chai tea iced latte was horrific. First, they told me the "extra shot" charge was for it being iced. Then they actually put revolting coffee espresso shot in the drink. After tasting it and gagging, I went back and they looked confused as to what the problem was as they didn't understand that a Chai tea latte was without espresso. So they made a new one (without the refunded erroneous charge) which was then completely sugar free and was just a chalky Chai tea with ice. Thankfully there was simple syrup on the help yourself stand and I was able to make it salvageable. Not good, but consumable. Very odd to me that a shop wasn't able to make something without coffee in it.

Fantastic addition to the neighborhood! Everything I’ve tried so far has been good (mini pain au Chocolat, quiche, various pastries) if not great (buche de Noel, macarons, baguette sandwiches). The service is friendly, competent and efficient.I only wish they would use reusable dishes, mugs, and cutlery for dine in orders. Not only is it better for the planet and people, but it’s a better dining experience. They do allow for bring your own mug though, which I appreciate and use.

Perhaps the slowest customer service ever. It’s quicker to drive to Fresh Baguette and back. Management is just sitting around and talking. 20 min each time

The bakery is excellent, and in every way similar to what you can find in France. I bring my French or foreign friends there. The Alsatian Kougloff would be a good addition to the menu! The bosses are very nice.

I’m sorry.. i don’t like to give bad reviews but i am legitimately a croissant connoisseur and lived in Paris. None of these pastries looked good and when I tried croissant it was doughy, not flakey. So many others I’d prefer in the area. Wanted to try but won’t be returning

I stop in here almost weekly, and the lattes have been great! The first time I went I also had the coffee cake which was really good & soft as well. Even at the end of their day I was greeted with a cheery bonjour and was able to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of a great coffee break. I have to note that on my visit last week I left without being able to order as it seemed as though the one person working was taking out trash and must’ve not seen me & the other gentleman that were perusing the shop…but I’m sure it was just an oversight as I’ve been told that this area can be pretty slow on Tuesday afternoons. Really great coffee, and a really great experience otherwise. Bonne chance! ?

Nice and clean, pleasant. Good to see bakeries which were sorely lacking in NOVA spring up. The raspberry croissants are very decadent, highly recommend. Would've loved to try some fresh squeeze OJ but the staff were too busy. Would be cool: a self-serve sparkling water fountain / tap, bring your own bottle.

The business hasn't been claimed on Yelp yet and is actually spelled GUSTAVE. Regardless, yum! I've peered in the windows at Gustave's since it opened last year and everything looked like true, French art boulanger art work. Today, I finally made it inside with a friend for pastries and cappuccinos and it was delightful. If you have chronic decision fatigue like I do, you may be overwhelmed while salivating at the counter. Here are my recommendations for you for before you walk in the door: (1) decide on choosing a savory or sweet item or both because they have several options under both categories; (2) decide on the size of your meal or snack- for example, Gustave's has large and mini beignets, thick slices of quiche and smaller savory tarts; (3) inside or elsewhere- Gustave's has a decent size of indoor sitting and small tables, but it can be busy. There you have it. Now go and get something at Gustave's!

This place has that je ne said quoi that's was missing from the area. Amazing French pastries and quiches. Lovely and friendly staff, busy bistro vibes. You won't be disappointed.

I changed my mind. Given that they charge $5 for an iced coffee, St. Elmo's is actually better and cheaper. Also, "boulangerie" is not accurate--Junction actually bakes their own stuff, this place not so much.

Wonderful bakery. Has croissants and other French pastry. Has breakfast sandwiches and sandwiches and soup for lunch. During the week it's usually not supercrowded but weekends are a different so be prepared for a long line.
