Great experience in the relaunch. Food was delicious and the service was amazing. Go see my cousin Mary, she is the best server in Del Ray.

Rebranded as Zuki Moon, the space is brighter and more welcoming. The addition of Filipino food items has them offering something that Del Ray was missing. Plus Kelvin is the best cocktail creator and bartender with the sweetest personality.

It's local so I want to like it but its never good. Consistently small and mediocre sushi. Overpriced and they charge and extra restaurant fee for no reason. The fee started during COVID, which was fine, but now continues without explanation.

Most of us had sushi and a couple had tacos. Everyone enjoyed their food. I think the Black Widow roll was everyone's favorite.Service was good. She was there to check on us at a regular interval. The restaurant itself was okay. The murals on the walls were cool.

Good sushi and drinks. The service is poor, but the sushi makes up for it.

Service was great however, the quality of the food didn't warrant the prices. "Asian-Fusion" was as you would expect in downtown Del Rey, not terrible, not terribly noteworthy. Admirable attempt at "Birria Ramen" was lukewarm carne asada in grocery grade broth. The spicy salmon avocado roll was equally unmemorable.

Weve been going to Kaizen for about ~2 years and it was our go to spot when friends were in town. Unfortunately we went last week and there was a palpable decline in every aspect of the restaurant. Some issues from our visit:Prices have gone way upFavorite items completely removed10% service chargeApparently only one sushi chef and one person to man the restaurant during dinner timeI will miss this spot but the change in menu and management leave something to be desired and I hope the course correct. This was such a fun place in town.

I love this place. However, they still have a 10% restaurant fee on the check. I've talked to Kelvin about it, and he says he doesn't know how to remove the line from the receipt. I completely understand them having the fee during the pandemic but it been over two years now. That 10% that they are charging should go to the waiters, bartenders. And I don't know of any other restaurants that continues to charge you a fee.
Staff and food are great. It’s my daughter’s favorite place. But the 10% automatically added service fee (which does not go to the staff) is absurd, and we choose other places in Del Ray because of it.

Update your closing time on yelp. Walked in at 845 on a Thursday because yelp said you were open until 10 but actually closed at 9. We also ordered ramen and a taco that never came due to the system not communicating? If this is a running issue it seems like something that needs to be addressed and corrected. Waitress was kind the bartender seemed to have a great rapport with the regulars. Other than that. Doubtful we'll come back.

Who doesn't love Sushi and Tacos!? Can't decide? Get 'em both! The Sushi here was great and the owner was there to make helpful recommendations. Prices are reasonable. Give them a try.

People are so petty. I can’t believe some of the poor reviews. This place is great. The sushi is top notch, the tacos are MOUTH WATERING and the staff is friendly. PLUS they have some really good drinks.

Delicious food, highly recommend happy hour from 4-6 every day (including weekends). With happy hour it was an amazing deal! The fish was super fresh and the tacos were delicious
Energetic staff makes the experience
