Dinner here was okay, but I do feel that this place was extremity overhyped. The service was pretty slow and the food wasn’t anything spectacular. I’ve had better Italian food without the hassle of reserving a table far in advance. My partner and I both had the chicken parm. We both agreed that the chicken was okay, but the rigatoni lacked flavor. The server forgot my daughter’s drink and offered Parmesan that I agreed to, but it never came.

I had a great experience at Mia’s. I tried the rigatoni alfungi per our servers recommendation and it was great! The atmosphere was lively. Our server Angel was very attentive and friendly. He provided a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back!

I recently visited Mia’s Italian Kitchen in Alexandria, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! The Chicken Parmigiana stole the show, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The ambiance was intimate, creating the perfect setting for a cozy and enjoyable meal. I highly recommend Mia’s to anyone craving delicious Italian cuisine in a charming atmosphere.

We sat immediately at the high tables in the bar area despite an hour wait for a regular table. We didn’t wait long for our meals and drinks were right away. Our bartender and waitress were attentive and very nice. The bruschetta appetizer was unique and delicious. My cod was perfect. The Victoria pasta hit the spot for my daughter as did the eggplant parmigiana. We saved room for dessert for ice cream down the street though. This was a wonderful stop on our way home from seeing the cherry blossoms at the DC Tidal Basin

Good food and service, great atmosphere! We were seated on the upper level, nice views of surrounding areas and the Marina. Good selection, we tried the bread with garlic oil, Margherita pizza, chicken parmesan and the spaghetti pomodoro. Food was flavorful and tasty. One person in our party was vegetarian, they had a good selection of vegetarian options. Parking in this part of town is always a challenge, we parked in the garage right up the street from the restaurant, a little pricey, but convenient. Overall, it was a great experience, looking forward to going back soon!
