If you view my other reviews, you know this native New Yorker is serious about great food, portion size and service. Right hand held high??, the BEST soul satisfying food ever in VA!!!. I've been searching and waiting for this kind of place for years, FINALLY the search is OVER!! Dear God bless the cook!! I can eat a small animal, but the portions are sizable. Cooked pan fresh to table in plain view, no stale leftovers or warmed over stuff ..JUST GOp.s. it's 4 pieces of fish, I consumed the missing one not show in the photo. It's take out, but you can also sit for a bit in their small but cozy seating area offered with friendly welcoming smiles?

Little plastic silverware type of dinner with limited seating but great food and serviceGood: tater tots best ever! French toast super thick. Lemon pepper honey chicken sandwich is bold flavor and gigantic. Staff is polite and helpful.Needs work: Berry French toast should have more than one strawberry but atleast it was fresh not frozen. No crepes available and only waffle is a sweet potato waffle.

First time ordering from this place today! Doordashed the order & i ended up having a few complaints! This isn’t about the mistakes, made but the recovery! They were friendly & apologetic & my food was remade without issue and delivered by an employee! I ordered crab hash & the chicken, honey buttered biscuits with cheese eggs! The Cajun cream & spinach cream sauce were delicious! The portions are massive & everything was seasoned well! Mistakes happen, i appreciate them going above and beyond to correct it!

First let me start by saying the food was good. However everything else was terrible. They should only offer take out because it’s SMOKEY inside the restaurant. Not to mention the greasey feel of the restaurant, I don’t understand why they don’t turn on the exhaust above the grill. We waited 30 min for our food and when we walked out we smelled like grease and fried food! It was terrible for a brunch spot because now you just want to go home and shower. Waffle House would be considered clean compared to this restaurant.

Pat,Made my experience amazing. She ensured that we understood the menu and allowed me and the group I was with to take our time and order. I am a picky eater and made a lot of comments like fried extra hard catfish and she ensured that the food was prepared just as I asked. She was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return because of her. First impressions mean everything and she ensured that we had the best first impression.

Overpriced, limited (uncomfortable) seating. The fish was okay but the grits were bland. However, the counter service was extraordinary. The female cashier made up for some of the detractors. If she is not the proprietor you couldn't tell because she cared about the customer experience just that much.
Today is my birthday and I woke up wanting breakfast. I picked my mom and my pregnant sister up and off we went. The food was delicious. Ms Pat. and Ms. Lou was so amazing. Omg when I say the atmosphere was so great. The portion size was awesome. Food was steaming hot… Seasoning was on point. Mom driving back up next week and we have another day schedule to go back for breakfast. Tuck you Ms Pat and Ms Lou
