This restaurant came highly recommended. I called in my order, had to pay for call-in when placed. The young lady on the phone told me 20 minutes but I waited close to 40 minutes. When I got my food which was a jerk chicken dinner, I was not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious with nice portion size. I could tell the food was made with love and quality ingredients. The young lady who was bagging the order did it with such care. So was it worth paying for it over the phone and waiting an additional 20 minutes, yes it was worth it to receive food of good quality and handle with care. I understand the wait when you are given delicious fresh food! Well done Ms. Ruby, I will let me coworkers know about this spot!

We were told about Ruby's from our friends. We ordered dinner online and were told 45 minutes, seemed long since it is a carryout. We ordered jerk shrimp and the oxtail dinner. We arrived 40 minutes later and waited an additional 15 minutes! The portions were enormous and quite tasty.

Best authentic Jamaican food in Northern Virginia. The chicken patties are fresh and soft. And, the BBQ jerk chicken and Mac & cheese are really good. I highly recommend this place.
First time FINALLY trying and they did NOT disappoint! I got the oxtail lunch with rice and peas, greens and a side of mac and cheese. Everything I ordered was 10/10. The portions were very generous and the staff was friendly. I will be a retuning!

I'm sure everyone loves this place. But yesterday was the worst experience. How do you forget a whole person that just spent $40 in your establishment. And when I confronted them about my order I was told another 15 minutes. At that point just give me a refund. If I could give a difference much lower score I would. You should not have anyone wait an hour for food. Especially when people who came in after me got their food and gone.

Communication within the establishment may need to improve..... the cashier need to provide realistic expectations of orders based on the cookers in kitchen possibilities. Order my food left and came back 30 minutes later and still had to wait an additional 30 to 45 minutes! However the food was delicious when we final was able to get it and consume it.

A little pricey for me. But the food was good. The peas and rice was a little dry but the sauce from the brown chicken helped it out alot. The beef parties were really good as well the coco bread was nice and soft. The jerk wings were

Incredible food. Amazing fresh patties. Very very busy during peak times like Saturday night. Be prepared to wait 1-2 hrs for your order! But it’s definitely worth it!!
Long wait time and gross food. Only the plantains were good. The chicken did not look like what they had in the picture

I don’t usually write reviews for any place at all. I am typically very introverted when it comes to public situations & places, due to social anxiety ? but this place genuinely blew me away to another level. I loved everything i got especially the beef patty. They were super nice & i would 1000000% come back again!

Highly recommend this restaurant. Most of the food was flavorful, the cabbage could have used a little more seasoning. The oxtails were small but they were delicious.
