We went for National Margarita Day and it was such a live experience! They had a live band, food and drink specials, and so much energy! I had a margarita and a taco salad, which was amazing. The service was fast and friendly. I would go back for that carne asada taco salad weekly!

This place is not even the shadow of what it used to be. I don't know if they changed ownership or if they changed the cooks. The food was terrible, meat was hard and the food didn't even taste like TexMex. I've had better TexMex food at American places that served fajitas and quesadillas. At least the staff was great and welcoming and gave us an outstanding service. I hope this place can get back on its prime.

It was good. Nothing special. It's a pretty basic Tex-mex restaurant. I got the smoked salmon tacos and my friend got a chimichanga. They were both edible, not very memorable. The waiter checked in frequently which was great. Food came out fast. The ambiance is decent. I'm sure it's a nice place to chill and have drinks during the warmer weather!

I went during lunch as I work around the corner. The place looks a bit dark when you walk by and it seems as if it is closed but it is open for lunch and dinner. The food was very tasty. Service was great and there is so much space, huge bar, great food selection. Excellent chips and salsa! The backgroujmnd music was also good! Very clean! Liked it a lot. Highly recommend!

This is a local Tex Mex Restaurant for me. I ordered a Birria Taco. It came as I thought it would and tasted fine. Service was good and I had one light beer with a minute to go until the end of Happy hour as well as a soda. No dessert as I am trying to lose weight. The chips were fine. I have had better but I have also had much worse. These were pretty standard but good. The tacos were fine and they were Birria tacos with the dipping sauce. If I go back I will try the burrito.Check out the specials, there may be something different on there. Today there were pork stomach tacos. I think they used a slightly different descriptive term. I almost tried those, but went with the Birria tacos. Parking is free when you get your ticket validated which make this easier to go to, to enjoy food if you have to drive there. They have a nice rendition of Frida Kahlo a well known Mexican Painter. In case anyone is interested I have stayed at a resort in Mexico that had 4 Frida Kahlo original paintings hanging in the entrance to the Mexican Restaurant.Service was good and I was kept satisfied. I stayed for a while and read. No problem at all from the staff.

Drinks were mediocre, too sugary or too weak. The server brought the nacho appetizer with our main plates. I ordered the pork with rice and black beans, but no black beans came. When I asked our server he said he would check...he never answered me, so I went online to look and indeed my dish should have come with black beans. I don't recommend this business.

I have been coming here for years. I speak in Spanish with the employees. My friends from South America, who I treat here, love the food and music here particularly el asado puerto riqueno. I like the tortilla soup. I am always treated with respect here. I tipped them well tonight. I didn't ask for change.

Make sure you keep an eye on your account when eating here. A zero was added to my tip making the tip 70% of the total bill. It really was just insult to injury because the service was already subpar. We went to this place hoping for a good margarita after seeing a movie Friday night. I've never had a flavored margarita that watered down and flavorless. I went back to the establishment to address the issue. They asked me how much did I actually want to tip and gave me the difference. I wondered about this place for years... Now I know. The amount of apathy was astounding. There's absolutely no reason to ever come to this place again. The only plus I can give this restaurant to justify one star is that it was very clean.

Absolutely appalled at the experience of a server, Esau, who outshined the tasty food and great atmosphere by returning to the table and DEMANDING a higher/additional tip from my best friend. The guy could barely communicate (broken English), didn't understand the order, and offered mediocre service. Nevertheless, my friend still gave him 20% only for the guy to brazenly claim that was insufficient (IN FRONT OF HIS DATE). He wouldn't leave without more money, so my buddy sheepishly gave him $5 more and then the server finally left him to the date. This man should be FIRED for ruining the evening and the managers should be far, far more careful with who they hire.

DINERS BEWARE!!!Took a first date here and the food was great! But when it came time to pay the bill it seemed fairly pricey for what we had ordered. 2 Caesar Salads (w/salmon) + 2 drinks = $87 (w/20% tip). At first glance this didn't look right but I didn't want to cause a scene over money on a first date so I left it alone. Afterwards our server Esau (who doesn't speak English) came over to our table and practically demanded that he receive a higher tip. Disgusted, I left with my date. Afterwards I realized he had charged me $48 for the 2 salmon salads (each salad should've been $19 per their menu). We will NOT be dining here again.
