I love this little gem. The GM is just a jewel. It was my second lunch visit there. Jacob treats guests like royalty. My companion asked a lot of questions regarding wines and spirits. Jacob was patient and extremely knowledgeable. I'll be back very soon. Thank you for a lunch to remember.

As a small business owner, I understand the price to keep a business going during this crazy inflation and current presidency. However the very high increases make this a spot for wealthy tourists and no longer a weekly spot for locals. Wishing them luck!

Nothing better than the original. Don’t let the reviews fool you. This place sucks now. We went here expecting the normal fun experience, but can we talk about how dry it was! I should have noticed the red flags immediately..the biggest one being zero people in there on a Saturday night! But let me help y’all, DON’T GO HERE!! Way too many options steps away. The woman assisting us was not only pre-judgmental but she clearly didn’t give a #uck about the guest experience. She gave me a wine that was clearly over oxidized-which I made her aware. Instead of replacing the glass she decided to walk off and leave me with the it (see picture below).Long story short, this place is whack!Signed,Your neighborhood Sommelier.

I noticed walking that they allowed dogs with an inviting bowl of water and some treats outside. Naturally, I said yes I will come and sit outside in the lovely garden to enjoy a glass of wine. We ordered the artisan cheese board and the wine flights while the pup enjoyed some iced water and also some cheese :-)Jacob was such a great host and was very attentive to all of our needs and took time to explain the menu. He was also very cognizant of it being a hot day and providing us with prompt ice and water.
Had a quick glass of wine here. Bar was nice bright and clean. Good crowd. They had food too but I didn’t partake. They let me try 3 wines before I had a glass.

Sonoma Cellar is primarily a wine bar, and a flight of four 2 oz pours - 2 white and 2 red - for $20, was a no brainer. It was a nice selection, though the wines had no connection to Sonoma! The highlight of the meal was a pasta and short ribs dish. Typically the food at wine bars is limited, but these ribs were quite large with a nice pasta serving and cooked carrots.

We used to go to sonoma almost every week - it was our local favourite. We went recently and they had reprinted their menus - same items but ridiculously inflated prices. Way out of whack with surrounding old town restaurants. You can eat the same and better quality food for much more reasonable prices nearby. Unfortunate.
