We live nearby, and this was our first time visiting Spice Kraft. This will DEFINITELY be added to our roster of regular stops. The food was delicious, the portions were large, and the service was great. AND they have happy hour on the weekends! The only ‘complaint’ I have is that I asked for one of the dishes to be extra spicy, and it simply wasn’t. They brought me more hot sauce, and that didn’t get to the level I’m used to either. This is absolutely a ‘me’ thing as I like my food intolerably spicy, and I will know for next time to specify that I want it “extra spicy as if I were in India” to get the right spice level!Dietary restrictions: We are both vegan, and one of us is gluten free as well, and there were plenty of options to choose from! Love that this place is so close!

Spice Kraft has some of the best Indian food in Alexandria. We started off with the Spinach Pakora Chaat, delicious and a unique combination of flavors. For entrees, we tried the Chicken Tikka and the Bhuna Bartha (eggplant) with a side of naan. Both dishes were cooked well. The chicken was tender and the eggplant was so flavorful. The only issue we had was that the Chicken Tikka was a bit too salty. Overall, cannot wait to return!

We weren’t much on Indian Food until our daughter and son in law introduced us to it at a restaurant in Baltimore, we instantly fell in love. Now this place in Alexandria, oh my goodness it was fantastic, tried a few new dishes, don’t ask me the names, they ordered for us! I was stuffed and my taste buds were happy! Go here, but make sure you make reservations, you will need them!Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating to our 8 month old grand daughter!
