The baklava is addicting. Buy a tray to share (or not in my case).

I came in here today for an afternoon snack. I got a green salad ($8.99), a chocolate cookie ($3.49), and a 16-oz. mocha latte ($4.99). The Alexandria sales tax was $0.87, and the Virginia sales tax was $1.05. The salad had lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, chicken, and almonds with balsamic sauce. Alexandria needs to quit charging the restaurant tax. It was highly controversial when enacted, and is causing restaurants to lose business, especially on delivery apps like Grubhub. You can just go over to Fairfax County a mile away to avoid it. The service was quick and friendly. The serving sizes were somewhat small. The salad was fresh, which is especially important. The latte was nice and hot. I came in here a few months ago for a turkey sandwich which was OK, but took a little too long to prepare. They seem to think everybody wants to take out, unless you are assertive about wanting to eat on site. I'm not sure why this is, but I have been seeing it more and more with restaurants lately. OK for a bite, but not if you are in a hurry.

Quaint counter service for baked goods, breakfast items coffee and tea. Breakfast burrito and Mediterranean wrap were excellent.

Prices are fair, space is clean. Was disappointed that I asked for a dirty chai and had to tell the barista that meant with a shot of espresso when she handed me a chai tea latte. Food looked good, though!

I love everything about this place... The atmosphere is bright and airy, the staff very friendly, the Nutella cookie to die for, AND the commitment to US veterans is simply beautiful. I will definitely be back, and am telling my friends and family members about it.

Top notch place for a quick and delicious breakfast! The sausage, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich was massive and delicious, the vanilla latte was certainly better than what you'll find at the chain places down the street, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg! Also great service!

Tuna panini was super oily and not even crispy. Didn't have much flavor. Went to this place because of the reviews but it seems like maybe they're just good for drinks

A solid cup of coffee but even better pastries. I ordered the Mamoul Mud Clotted Cream and it was absolutely divine. The service was friendly and fast. I’ll be dreaming of that little pistachio and clotted cream pastry. Outdoor seating is cute

We had the need to drive an hour to the courthouse here, and planned ahead of time a place to relax beforehand over coffee and a nice pastry. On here, it looked like a great choice. WRONG. Starbucks around the corner would have been a much better selection. This is one of those times when the reviews here let you down, so I felt the need to share now. This is a tiny little shop with a few unusual sweet selections, mostly middle eastern inspired (don't misunderstand, I'm a foodie and love such things). I tried one, which was just "meh', along with the two coffees we needed before our meeting. Yuck, even gas stations have better coffee these days. What a letdown. I hate to write this review on a much admirable small business, but this is not what it appeared, and I would not go back.

I spent the week of May 8, 2023 at the US Courthouse in Alexandria for a Trial. Each day, we had lunch at Sprigs. I cannot say enough great things about this place; very friendly, clean, extremely good food and interesting menu. This place a real find and I wish they would open a location in Rockville, MD, where we are located.

Great food, friendly service, and nice indoor and outdoor seating options. Extra bonus points for no fuss online order & pickup through their website.
