This is a great place to try. We tried today for the first time and really enjoyed it. There's a parking lot in the building (not Trader Joe), which is very convenient. The place is clean and relaxing, with tables inside and outside. Service was great and food was delicious. We tried fresh spring rolls that we've never had before (nem nuong) which had a delicious dipping sauce. I had the BEST Bahn mi (Heo quay) ever here (A keeper) while my wife had chicken and vermicelli (ga nuong).

Love this spot! Nice patio area near Trader Joe's. Better prices than most in Old Town. We've enjoyed every dish. The spring rolls, curry, rice dishes, and ramen are great!

The service & food from Sunday in Saigon is absolutely amazing! Everything we've ordered has been VERY delicious. I couldn't say enough good things about their grilled Eggplant dish (Ca Tim) was mouth watering and their Cha Ram (called "nems" in France)were SO SO good! They reminded me of my mom's and that is a huge compliment! I have also tried one of their delicious soups before and will have some soon as it'll get cold again. What a gem to have nearby! Their attention to details is noticeable all the way to how they pack their food for take out orders. Highly recommend! Can't wait to try everything on their menu!

Best pho I've ever had! I've only eaten here twice (the first time in Feb 2019), but both times were excellent! Everything was extremely flavorful, and the spice level was perfect! I cannot express enough how much I loved the pho!!!

They charge you more than what is written on their menu and then tell you that the menus that they provide you are the old menus. So they actually ended up charging us 39% more than what the cost said on the menu. Very unethical business practice that violates the Virginia Consumer Protection Act.

The ambiance was nice. The Cha Gio Chay (Fried Veggie Roll) was delicious, the Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Beef Soup) - not so much. It was not spicy enough and the meatballs tasted too sweet.

this place is literally a scam. the menu said a small thai tea was $3.95, however, after asking the barista not to add any boba nor milk, the grand total was $6.10. when i asked for an explanation, the guy said that the menu listed the old prices, and i should have looked at another menu, which, by chance of course, was hidden under a pile of older menus.to make my thai tea it took around 20 minutes and the taste was under average. strongly discourage visiting.

We came here as refugees from an outdoor food festival. The lines at the festival were too long and it was too hot. We found Sunday in Saigon (thank you TA!) and had a very pleasant lunch. The two dishes we ordered were very nice, and there was much more on the menu that looked interesting. Old Town is off the beaten path for us generally, but we are plotting a return to this restaurant soon. It was surprisingly busy for a Saturday in late August, but may we weren't the only refugees from the park.

We backkk. Wifey and I was out and had the press for Vietnamese cuisine! So, the hunger took us to Sunday In Saigon. Ok, first the cons, you have to enter through a coffee shop establishment next door and the menu requires reading glasses if you don't have 20/20. Now for the pros, the ambiance, service and food was off da chain! This place is top notch, tier 1 and the drink menu look robust as well. Highly recommend checking this place out and lastly, out of 30 people dining, the majority appeared to be Asian or Vietnamese, so that's always a positive signal.

Had lunch here on the weekend. Ordered the Mini Vietnamese crepes, fried calamari, Napa Cabbage Salad, and Stir Fried Soft Egg Noodles with seafood (seafood was a $5 extra charge). The fried calamari had 5 pieces of calamari, with the rest a mixture of fried onions, ginger, and pickled veggies. For $12, I would think they would give you a few more pieces of calamari. The other appetizers were nothing to write home about. Salad was basically mixed greens ($10), which I felt like was a bit overpriced. The Stir Fried Soft Egg Noodles, it came out with all the veggies still raw, which look like they forgot the veggies and just sprinkled them on top at the end. After we told them, they took the dish back to the kitchen to basically re-cook it. It's a standard stir fried noodle dish, nothing fancy, really disappointed. Overpriced and un-inspiring, probably due to the fact it's near Old Town, they feel like they need to over-charge to keep up with its 'upscale' atmosphere. Do not recommend.

Went on a date here immediately after eating at Hank’s Oyster Bar because the food there was so unforgettably abysmal.Sunday In Saigon really delivered. The prices were much better and the food was delicious. I had the prawn curry and the Antennae were dry and salty like a seafood snack which complimented the curry so well. It was a joy to eat and look at.I see that some reviews are a bit hard on this restaurant. Typically I would nitpick more, but in comparison to the insult to food, Hank’s, that is showered with 5 star reviews, I cannot rate Sunday in Saigon this anything lower than 5 stars as it is so much better in every regard, food, atmosphere, and overall professionalism. They saved our dinner date with their tasty food! Definitely recommend

I had the vegan pho, and it was really good. First time I've had it with seitan and not tofu. The rice noodles were a little overcooked and cut into smaller pieces. Different from what I've been used to, but still delicious. The ambiance was wonderful. I entered through the ice cream store and it was a little confusing where to wait to be seated.

Pretty good food and great service. The outdoor seating is a win for sure. A very nice patio to sit out on. It's relatively quiet outside. After eating you can go inside and get some ice cream which is a plus. The portions are pretty good and the menu is pretty large. I great amount of options.
