Fantastic street tacos ($4-$6 per) and delicious margaritas. Orders are taken on a kiosk, so… no human interaction and straight forward. The only interaction we had was through the bar tender, which wasn’t much. Didn’t seem like wanted to be there nor did he seem to care about customers waiting to order. Bottom line - awesome food, unfriendly drinks.

My husband and I love this place! We used to live within walking distance and it was our go-to spot for spontaneous date nights and an easy/fun dinner for out of town guests. We were sad to move away. The atmosphere is casual and fun with the indoor/outdoor bar and seating and the music videos provide great conversation starters. The staff are efficient and friendly and they helped me to find options when I was on a dairy free and soy free diet. Highly recommend the beef empanadas! Their specialty tacos are also delish. My main criticism is that the music was often far too loud to have normal conversation indoors. The bartenders served drinks well but are not particularly warm or personable (not a requirement but always a plus). We'll definitely go back when we visit town!

Delicious tacos but avoid getting any hot temperature dishes that come in Styrofoam cups. This picture was of the cup that held my delicious spicy popper. The tatter tots also melted the Styrofoam.

Food is tasty, a wide variety of taco which includes fish, shrimp, tounge, carnitas, beef and more. Portions are 1 taco per order so you may want at least 2 per person. We sat at the bar, only place you get table service (otherwise you walk up to counter order). Bartender was Very slow, not sure he was trined properlg (kept testing every drink he made) and even for initial acknowledgment, service, and orders (we almost got up and left he was so slow). Next time will self order. Even a drink took at least 5 minutes (a beer and margarita) and there were only 3 other people at the bar.Parking: In a strip mall so easy parking

I am from southern AZ and know Mexican cuisine. Taco Rock was a perfect "taste" of home! The ambiance and staff are great. But the food was terrific! I ordered the Shakedown Shrimp. It was spicy, crispy where it needed to be and perfectly cooked. Absolutely wonderful!

Went to this restaurant the other day with some friends at lunch. They offer dine in, take out, outdoor seating. The restaurant is very cute and kept very clean. I believe they are also now partnering with Washington Capitals which is awesome! There's plenty of parking, handicap parking, handicap accessible, bathrooms located on the premises. You can order ahead, order on tablets when you get there, or the bartender is always very sweet and willing to help out. Food is made fresh and comes pretty quickly. Everything tastes great! Would absolutely recommend for a visit!

This is a great place for ambiance at the bar.. but even though the tacos are great, they are appetizer size and pricey.. by the time they put a tablespoon of guac on mine it was $7 Bucks.. so if you're hungry, want great basic tacos without breaking the bank, stick to Chipotle

I'm OBSESSED. I have been searching for decent tacos in the dmv since I got back from El Paso. They're creative, lean, tasty, and delicious. I got carne asada, pollo, shrimp, and barbacoa. The only one I wouldn't order again was barbacoa, just because it wasn't as flavorful as the others. The others just knocked it out of the park, specifically the carne asada and shake down shrimp. To die for. 10/10 would recommend, and can't wait to try the other tacos. EDIT- also I picked up the order, but the interior was super cute and I'd def go there to hang out.

This is a review solely based on Take out, I'm giving not 3 stars just because they didn't mess up with my order (like they usually do) this time. My husband loves their Chicken Nachos, he says that are always big portions and tons of chicken, although this time the portion was unusually smaller than normal (we always end up with leftovers of this dish in particular), yet he likes the flavors so he was content regardless. I'm usually ordering their "Taco Salad" w/ shrimp and order it without rice and just "greens" yet they always end up adding tons of rice and last time I got pieces of pork (I only eat seafood, no poultry no red meat). When we order we do it through Uber Eats, so it's hard to communicate with the restaurant to make my order right. This time I decided to give their tacos a try again (because I had their Ahi Tuna and was really tiny and disappointing, also not really good). I'm truly happy with the blackened salmon taco, love the green chili aioli with the cotija cheese crumble! Loved the smokiness of the fish! The fried oyster one was very funky, but nevertheless delicious (I would consider putting some more salsa on top of that!) and my shrimp taco is basically what I've been asking to have made it done right when ordering the green taco salad hahah. Please be more attentive with the Uber Eats orders! Thanks!
