Solid fried chicken. Not perfect as mine was cut a weird way so that it came off as long strips and got stuck in my teeth, and it wasn't the best seasoning I've ever had in my life. But it was good white meat without gristly bits, and it scratched the fried chicken itch. The Nutella pudding wasn't super Nutella-y. For weekday lunch, it was nice and roomy and they had a changing table in the bathroom! The food came out fast too, and the guy up front was very patient with a customer who took a long time to order.

It wasn’t bad but I have for sure tried better fried chicken sandwiches in my life.We had the waf waf chicky chicky, the fried chicken sandwich and fries. You order at the counter, they give you a number and they bring the food to your table. And if you need anything else (napkins, etc) you need to go to the bar and ask for it.They give you plastic cutlery .

I used Uber Eats so by the time it arrived it wasn't exactly peak fresh n hot, but it was still FANTASTIC. The Nashville Hot Chicken (level 3 spice Dang Hot) was particularly amazing. The slaw is a great touch and the comeback sauce put it over the top. Of course, the pickles and brioche bun were on point. The spice level was very high, but no punishing like a real ghost pepper sauce. Perfect (HIGH) heat! The half chicken (level 2 spicy, can't remember name) was outstanding as well. It was not spicy at all but my mouth was still burning so I didn't mind. Really really nice crust. Reminded me of some of the best fried chicken I've ever had down in Savanah, GA. Great seasoning, great crunch, not quite as heavy as Popeyes and a completely different flavor. I'll be ordering again.

This is my second time eating here. My friend and I were walking around old town starving, we saw this place and decided to check it out. I ordered the fricken good chicken sandwich and some hush puppies. The sandwich was good, the chicken was kind of bland to me, I feel like it needed more seasoning. Sauces don't cover up bland meat in my opinion. This sandwich has a ranch sauce on it. The hush puppies were really good. I think they were jalepeno and cheddar.

My husband and I have been doing take out from The Rub for like 2 years now and wow the fried chicken is the bomb, we usually order the same thing Nashville hot chicken, it's crispy with the perfect heat on the outside & juicy in the inside, the coleslaw & comeback sauce that comes in it really compliments it. Also the Mac & cheese is so delicious. I highly recommend check out this place & you won't be disappointed.

5/5 for food, when I went the staff was a bit inattentive, but the food made up for that! Went during a hot day, but the outdoor sitting had perfect shade so the breeze was nice. Chicken was well seasoned, had the perfect crunch, and the buns were soft! The crunchy sweet potato fries were also super good! Highly recommend if you're feeling some good chicken sandwich!

My boyfriend and I went on a Sunday around 2pm. It was really busy and we got the last open seating for two. There is a restaurant upstairs called Hen Quarter. On Sunday they have brunch and regular menu. Street parking only. We ordered at the register and took a number. We both got the Fricken Good chicken sandwich. I did no bun on mine and added an avocado. We both enjoyed our food. I thought the fries were good. My boyfriend wish they were a little more crispy. I enjoyed the comeback sauce and ended up putting it on my chicken. I got the Sunrise punch which was sweet and delicious, the margarita was pretty strong. I would definitely come back and try the other sandwiches or their brunch. Thank you!

First off let me start off by saying NICOLE who worked during the day on Monday 5/16/22 was super rude and unwelcoming. For new customers who need guidance advice and suggestions she makes smirky comments like "well everything on our menu is good" I simply asked "what do you recommend or what's good"..... she walked away from us and said let me know what y'all decide literally no help, she seems very bothered rushed and entitled with a slab of raciest... Customer service makes or breaks a place for me bc the experience is supposed to be shared with the food. This place is as someone else explained is "forgettable"!!!! avoid it!

The Nashville chicken sandwich is seriously the best chicken sandwich I ever had in my life! Love the amazing tasty spicy coating and it’s fried juicy and tender - It’s all I want to eat now! Also tried the “bowl” was even better with lettuce and no bun, bigger than expected. Amazing!!

I was disappointed. I expected to eat tasty spicy chicken tenders and fries. However, everything was over seasoned yet it had no flavor.

Came for a quick bite with my mom before she traveled back home. I've been here a few times prior, so I was familiar with the process of ordering, seating, etc. We both ordered the quarter bird. We were told it would be a little wait for dark meat, which we didn't mind. The kitchen gave us complimentary hush puppies and deviled eggs for our wait. Overall great service for casual dining. The food came out hot and plenty. The experience was consistent as prior. Will be back again!

So ive been looking at this place for awhile dying to try it. Me and friend came to experience the hype and i was honestly dissapointed. The food was hyped to be amazing and i found it to be lacking. The chicken although juicy was under seasoned. The hush puppies were dry and the fries were cold. The only reason i didnt give it a 2 star was because the mac and cheese was pretty good and their bartender put his foot in the punch that i had. Im willing to give it second chance but not any time soon. I hope it is not a reflection of hen quarter.

What a cool little spot. We popped in for a work lunch at the end of a multiple day industry meeting. We took an Uber from National Harbor so we did not have to worry about parking, but, it looked like parking is gnarly. Maybe there are parking garages nearby? Service was fantastic. A nice low-key kind of vibe. No drama here. We has questions about the menu and the folks answered them all. Very good beer selection. The food was amazing. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sando - slathered in Nashville hot sauce, mustard coleslaw, pickle chips, comeback sauce, on a warm brioche bun. It was so frickin' good. I had fries on the side with the comeback sauce - excellent. Highly recommend!

I passed by this spot on Saturday, and my usual chicken sandwich spot is closed on Sunday's, which is when I had the taste for a quick chicken sandwich. I was in the area and remembered this spot so decided to give it a try - I kinda felt like I was cheating on my usual spot because Ive gone there once every week for like the pass month . I was greatly disappointed. It wasn't worth it. The chicken and fries weren't even warm. I initially thought that maybe my sandwich was on the cooler side because of the tomato and lettuce, but my husband said his wasn't warm either. It's definitely not made fresh to order, which is my absolute favorite thing about my main chicken spot. I had high hopes due to the high rated reviews, but it just didn't do it for me at alllllll. I won't be coming back.

Chicken sandwich was dry, little flavor (I got “dang hot”), some of the lettuce was old, and end tomato cuts.It was called “Fricken Good”, but tasted like breaded nothingness.Maybe I ordered at the wrong time because the pictures I see here look awesome. You can’t charge $10.75 for that, go to Chick-fil-A.Fries were decent.
