Highly recommend for wedding receptions or other events. Cheryl and her team are extremely professional and are about as "experts" as you can get hosting large scale events. We were beyond thrilled with how our wedding reception went, and it was all due to the amazing team at USPH! Great location for a reasonable price as well. 10/10

Feel of a traditional pub. We had the crab cake sandwich and country ham and brie sandwich- both hit the spot. Busy spot, so service was a little slower- server was friendly and attentive.

We had a private party in the Whiskey Bar of Union Pub House with about 15 people. It was the perfect venue, very classy and enabling of a lounge type vibe versus a sit down dinner. The staff was great, the planner was great, the food was great and they were amenable to decorations and outside cake. And it was cost efficient.

We came for their happy hour which goes till 7pm. There were 4 of us and we walked in and grabbed a table right away. All the servers were very friendly and checked on us throughout our time there. We each got a beer/cider and for food got the cheeseburger sliders, Buffalo wings and barbecue wings all from their happy hour menu. We also ordered a side of their garlic Parmesan fries which was from their regular menu. The sliders and fries were both delicious. We needed to kill some time while we waited for a table at a different spot for dinner, so this was a great place to grab a drink and light snacks while we waited!

Boys lunch, and we picked the right place. The burger was on point and the fries were hot and crispy. One of the guys from Maryland ordered the crab cake sandwich. He described it as “lumpy”, which he said is a good thing. If you are in the Old Town Alexandria area, stop here for lunch. You will not be sorry.

Service was as slow as I can remember anywhere. Fried chicken was clearly rewarmed, not made to order. It wasn’t even hot, and it dry and chewy. It’s an attractive old building but very loud. I probably won’t go back.
Had a work event in the bar here recently. Bar staff are outstanding! Atmosphere is great in this vintage building. The alcohol selection is very impressive as well! This place is very much worth trying out is you’re in old town Alexandria! Love it!
