Terrible experience. I ordered Chicken Parmesan for takeout and received this. Not to mention it costed me $27. The noodles seemed undercooked, the sauce was watery, the chicken mediocre, and it had no taste. I could only taste the milk. Never ordering from here again. Unacceptable.

Magically amazingly terrible experience. A rat crawled up my arm right into my mouth! YUM! It danced in my stomach before being digested.

You can ignore Janet’s 1 star review below. I find this place to be a hidden gem. The food, the wine, the service, and the atmosphere is a unique experience. Give it a try and come back on here to leave your thoughts.

This quaint local restaurant is off the beaten track and is a quiet little superstar! Open for lunch and dinner with fabulous meals and attentive service from the owner and staff. Every visit is a great experience.

I've worked close this restaurant for a couple of years and thought I'd finally give it a try due to the mixed reviews I've gotten in the past from co workers. I had the manicotti, which at $23 was overcooked, had an unpleasant aftertaste similar to olives, and seemed heavily salted..pair that with day old baguette (which they managed to dunk in Italian dressing) and that was that. The restaurant and staff itself was undistinguished, and I'm quite sure I won't be inclined to try anything further on the menu.

Our family and friends (when visiting) have been going to Via Veneto for 3 years. This is a great spot. The food is tasty and the pizza is top-notch (I can say this having been a pizza maker in several Italian restaurants many moons ago). Chicken parm and penne lenzi are also our go-to choices.

Until Via Veneto, I had never had the dubious pleasure of steamed bread. When a busboy plunks a couple pieces of damp baguette in front of you, and avoids looking you in the eye, that should tell you the story of meal you're about to eat. This is a tale of disappointment from about a week ago:FOODIf that was a carbonara, I'm a monkeys uncle. Scorching hot buttered spaghetti, unseasoned, with a few bits of undercooked bacon. After piling on a quarter cup of powdered cheese product, along with an obscene amount of salt, I managed to eat a few disappointing mouthfuls before setting it aside. Though not before observing an oily puddle at the bottom of the plate. The rest of our table was equally disappointed: overcooked dry fish, watery lasagne, a total of six dishes that failed us.DECOR90's, but without the imagination. Cheap stick-on posters on the walls providing an image of "Italy" that never really existed. A preponderance of senior-aged clientele employed cell phone flashlights to see their menus while management shunted the lights dimmer and dimmer, almost as though they didn't want us to see the food.STAFFHere is where words fail us: our waitress was overwhelmed but still somehow hugely pleasant. The helpful young woman with the multicolor hair was a charmer who pitched in. Those two ladies were the only good thing about this place. But as quality workers in a restaurant are a rare thing, by the time you read this you probably won't see them there any more.

Food was very bland, which included the calamari, chicken parmesan, and the manicotti. Decor was dated and worn. Definitely not worth the cost. The waitress was great and I don't blame her for the above.

- food was amazing, everything was fresh and had such good flavor.- staff were friendly, service was a bit missing but not a problem.- parking easy to find and is on site.- prices can run bit high but pretty normal for the area for the most part.- place was clean and organized.- overall a good first experience. I'd recommend this location.

I cannot convey how terrible the food was. Not even mediocre for an American Italian restaurant. Overcooked pasta, bland sauce and terribly cooked protein. Really awful. Sorry to be blunt but this is not acceptable anywhere. I live independent restaurant but cannot support this one.
