Our sweet pastries (beautiful!) were definitely a bit of the sweet side, but the savory pastries nailed it. The real star was Nikolai who made us great coffee, answered all of our questions, and made everything sound so good that we walked away with more than we expected to. We'll be back!

Pastries are a bit too sweet, no tables or chairs or public restroom due to covid concerns even though most places consider covid over now

Had the caramel macchiato and the pistachio cake. Both were phenomenal, so glad I decided to try it out.

Interesting flavors in nice combinations. All the cakes were too sweet — probably because of the icing — which masked the flavors in sweetness and gave the icing a more grainy dry quality than ideal. IMHO

Definitely not our new go to place. Went for croissants, sold out at noon. Bought cookies and chocolate pastries, just meh. Still searching for our go to French bakery.

Very good pastries, amazing croissants. A little pricey so this is a special treat kind of a place for me, not somewhere I could afford on a regular basis.

The coffee here is always delicious and Nikolai is so genuinely warm and friendly. Pastries also great (some sweeter than others, so ask if thats a concern). As someone else mentioned, this place is a gem, but I don't think they're doing custom cakes atm (just as a head's up). But seriously... love the coffee

Don't be misled by the nondescript shopping center: This French patisserie is a gem. The Maple Pecan "croissant" might not be a real croissant by Parisian standards, but it is delectable. Coffee is pretty good. With tip, coffee and a pastry Cost <$8.They also had a number of wedding cake examples on display that were really gorgeous.I'm looking forward to trying some of their other offerings.

The croissants are delicious, but at $5 each, I probably won't be back. Didn't try the desserts, but they did look delicious as well.

Stopped in at Voila Pastry & Cafe yesterday. The display counter was so beautiful and I had a hard time choosing. There were macarons and other beautiful cookies. I selected three cakes: Raspberry Chambord, Lemon Merengue and a chocolate. They were AMAZING! Some of the best cakes / tortes I've ever had. Definitely will be back for more.
We tried a chocolate shortbread cookies ($21.98/lb) and several pastries (opera, revenge, marjolaine, and butter pecan torte $6.75/ea). They were OK - nothing spectacular. Weirdly they actually tasted better the second day when we finished what was left. If I were in the area, I might stop by but I wouldn't go out of my way

This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in a strip mall off North Kings Highway in Alexandria. It’s next to Bob and Edith’s Diner. Coffee here is excellent all the time. The pastries are a little pricey but they are worth it. Owner/lady behind the counter is so nice. Im here everyday.

The macarons are bland and don’t taste fresh or made from scratch, I tried a raspberry dessert that was pretty good though. I tried the spinach croissant and thought I could get something similar at Starbucks honestly. It was a lovely display and there are probably some hits that I just didn’t get to try, but I wasn’t wowed.

I've been here a handful of times. Their dessert selection includes artistically prepared mini tarts, cakes, scones, and muffins. The Pastries are honestly almost too delicious to eat. Desserts aside, the best tasting items on their menu are by far their freshly baked croissants. The traditional croissant, the almond croissant, the feta spinach pastry, and the ham and cheese pastry are all outstanding. I don't think I'll ever go back to the sweets at Voila because their croissants are seriously that good. I do wish that Voila had more of a cozy feel. I'd love to bring my laptop and do a little work there with a cup of coffee and a fresh breakfast pastry. Currently there is no indoor seating due to COVID. Hoping this is something they consider in the future.

The ham and cheese croissant was a yummy snack. The gluten-free layered Marjolaine cake slices were delicious and were a hit with both my friends that do and don't eat wheat.
