Been frequenting Whiskey and Oyster for the past couple of years and always enjoyed the ambience and food. However, recently the food has declined and the salad I ordered was wilted, not presented well and overall should have costed $10. The entree and appetizer came out together and the soup was cold. The salmon was decent but overall for a meal that cost $111 for two people with tip, I would not return. I hope they can right the ship and return to their original standard of quality.

My husband and I went at about 10pm. Let me start off with, the only items we found good were the appetizers. The Oyster Rockefeller was full of flavor and cheesy; and the Duck Spring Rolls were so good I could've just had that as my main course My husband and I both got the Caribbean Rockfish meal. In my opinion the fish itself was pretty good, but the beans and rice was not it. We got a dozen oysters, they were barely shucked. The spinach and squash/onions weren't too good either, lacking. The drinks were decent. My husband got an Old Fashioned and I got a Strawberry Margarita. The service was ok, again it was late, so that could've been it. Overall 6/10 (in my Keith Lee voice lol)

I’ve been here twice and two separate days with two separate bartenders and unfortunately they were both unapproachable (aside from Tim?) and not very warming as bartenders tend to be. It’s sucks cuz the food and drinks are pretty decent. Also the bathrooms could be a little cleaner.

I visited this past Sunday, 3/16. It was very quiet, even with the employees. They don’t really greet you. Me and another lady were waiting and an employee came by, said “Hi” and walked away. The young lady who I found out was the hostess, walked up and greeted me. I told her I wanted a booth, but none were clean so she had to buss my table herself. Which she said she wiped off but I had to ask for it to be wiped again, TWICE. This caused the other patron to have to wait a while longer to be seated. Once seated the hostess let me know Kendra would be serving me. While Kendra was very nice, service was extremely slow, they looked to only have one server taking care of, from what I could see, 5 tables inside and an unknown number of tables outside. I had been seated about 10 minutes before she came to our “section” and checked out the table across from me. Granted she acknowledged me and said she would be right with me, it was approximately another 18 minutes before a different young lady asked if I ordered yet, which I hadn’t, so I ordered with her. I will mention that at around the 14 minute mark, Kendra did come tell me she was so sorry and that she would be there shortly.Another thing I noticed was that upon my arrival the front door facing booth had not been cleaned, and remained unclean for 16 minutes after I had been seated. So, for almost 30 minutes. They also didn’t have many of the raw oysters listed on their menu. But they had other options not listed on the paper menu. I also wanted fries, but they warned me that they may not have those either (they didn’t). I initially ordered 2 Blue Point oysters, Grilled Oysters with Chimichurri, and Lemon Pepper Asparagus. My Blue Points were brought out first, by Kendra, who again apologized for the wait. So delicious that I had to double back for three more. The asparagus needed a bit more seasoning, I tasted no lemon or pepper. And the chimichurri on the oysters was underwhelming, but adding a bit of Tabasco sauce to both did them justice. I literally inhaled it. I did realize that after the fact, the bottom of the chimichurri oyster plate was covered in salt. So I probably could’ve used that to give it more flavor. And lastly for my drink, I ordered an Old Cuban. It was fantastic.

The hostess was rude didn't have any manners. (Didn't say you're welcome and I thanked her for taking us to our seat and when she brought us water.) other than that my server and food was pretty good. I got the Connecticut lobster roll and steamed shrimp.

We really enjoyed our server because he couldn't believe how we killed the oysters and the muscles that we ordered lol but it was a very good experience, and will likely be back again

It was great! Every third Monday of the month we go for Oyster day . The oysters are $1.... YES YOU READ RIGHT! $1 and you can upgrade to blue point oysters for $6/dozen. You have to get a drink with each order of a dozen oysters. They are delicious! Highly recommend making reservations !

I come here every couple of months and they never disappoint. Parking is easy (Paid street parking). They have indoor and outdoor seating depending on the season. They always have a good drink menu and I always try something new. My cousin goes for the Oysters each time we come. Food is always a hit, only bad note, last time I came my sweet potato fries came out overcooked and cold, but it was corrected right away and I got an apology by two different staff members. The next batch was hot and done right. I always recommend this place to my family when they come visit.

I went to this restaurant with my friends, Danny & Neythan twice and both of those times we experienced were amazing. My favorite meal I ordered from Whiskey & Oyster is the Connecticut Lobster Roll. It’s so delicious + the best Lobster Roll I’ve ever had since my vacation trip to Maine with my family a few years ago. My friends, Danny & Neythan ordered their signature burgers and they enjoyed eating it at Whiskey & Oyster. Honestly, we have the best time eating food there.

The kitchen is great, and after we gave up on our table service and moved to the bar the service improved a lot. The host and manager and table servers were in open conflict and we couldn't get any attention, which was weird. Still, we loved the menu and the food prep was great and timing was good as well

The food was high quality and delicious. The portion sizes are generous and all meals were enough to share. I highly recommend the French toast. The drinks are made with fresh ingredients- I had fresh cranberry juice for the first time.

This place was okay. They were understaffed for bar crawl. Bartenders were mostly just making drinks for table orders and ignoring bar customers. Beer was full price in half size plastic glass.

Not surprisingly, the whiskey and oysters were Supreme. The briny options were not too salty and paired perfectly with the grits side and "best old fashioned". It was a memorable meal. Service was exceptional as well. The background music was cool, just a little loud.

My friend and I came here for lunch on a Saturday. Not busy, but the bar area was pretty full. We had the oysters Rockefeller, grilled oysters with Thai chili sauce butter, a dozen raw oysters, duck spring roll, and hush puppies. Would highly recommend the oysters Rockefeller, very tasty. The thai chili sauce overpowered the flavors of the oysters. Would probably choose a lighter sauce next time. Their oyster selection was excellent and would definitely come here for an oyster special day. The duck spring roll was just ok, and it is one average sized roll cut into 4 pieces. The hush puppies were meh. The bourbon is way overpriced and selection was just ok. A serving of Buffalo trace was roughly 30 bucks. You can buy a bottle of Buffalo trace for roughly the same, even online.Service was excellent. The bartenders were attentive and parking was relatively easy to find. Would likely come back for their dollar oyster days.
