The food and service here are excellent!!! They give large portions and have great vegan options. I’ve tried many habesha restaurants in the DMV and ZeMeda is one of the best!

The Meda sport bar and restaurant offers an incredible atmosphere for hanging out. The ambiance for watching sports is truly spectacular. Their menu features healthy and delicious food that my family and I always enjoy, along with their excellent hospitality.
My first time here…it’s reallly amazing! The owner is a really chill, laid back guy! I’m the beginning I felt a little out of place, but they made me feel just like part of the family! Not to mention the prices…THE FOOD ?????

As stated in my previous review, I was determined to visit this restaurant and give it a try because of the owner's hospitable nature. I convinced my friend to accompany me for lunch and we were impressed with the service - the owner checked on us multiple times. I ordered the vegan pasta while my friend order the vegan dish. The the past was fresh and the vegan platter was particularly remarkable. If you enjoy watching soccer, the venue was packed with people watching the game. The atmosphere felt like I was back home.

Awaze tibbs were good, the missr wot was the worst I've ever had. I paid $4 extra for tef injera and they only gave me one sheet of it. For awaze tibbs, shiro and missor wot I should have at least two sheets of injera.

I called and asked for suggestions for food I could serve to a group later in the day. The woman that answered was patient and answered all my questions and was thoughtful about what would work best for what I needed. The food was delicious and our crowd, which consisted of several people unfamiliar with Ethiopian food, was won over. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for top quality food and great service.

Food was okay, but the service was not good at all. Our waitress served us and never came back. She never bought the ice back that we requested and never came back to see if wanted anything else. We had to waive someone else down for our needs. She never came back at all. We were given a container no utensils. THE WORST SERVICE EVER.
