This will be the best ribeye steak you ever had. I'm not exactly sure why- cut, seasoning, temperature, etc but I'm not overthinking it any more. JUST GO! Be forewarned, everyone around can pile in quick on you bc they know where the good stuff is too! Everything is good, but the steak is the unbeatable. The atmosphere is classic dineresque with a family style dining feel. Some of my favorites I've tried so far are the crayfish appetizer, ribeye and grilled shrimp with a loaded potato, grilled salmon,and petit filet. The burgers are great too, but they only serve those during the week. Save room for dessert, it's worth it!Vegetarian options: Salads or pasta without meat. Lots of vegetables have meat seasoning.Parking: Attached lot.

Prime rib is grilled like steak, med rare was seared, potatoes twice cooked are good. Walls covered with License plates from all around states. Service was good. They Never have steamed oysters but that's main picture on website!! Wings okay, BBQ was good. Nice diner atmosphere

On Saturday March 2nd we just stumbled across Perky’s while traveling from Florida back home to Maine. Because of the name, we stopped. The place was packed. Our only option was up to an 1-1/2 hour wait for a table or sit at the counter. Im happy we stayed and chose the counter. For the next 45 minutes we had a front row seat to Greg and his 20 yr old sidekick along with several other kitchen and wait staff feed us and a sea of other people that were seated. In all their spare time they also filled numerous take-out orders and Greg checked on those of us seated at the counter. If all they had brought us to eat was warm water and stale popcorn the price we paid to witness this well oiled synchronized chaos was well worth it, however we ordered the Salmon and Prime Rib. Both were fantastic ! Everything that came off that grill looked fantastic. In a world where quality, hustle and customer service is pretty much non-existent, we found Perky’s Restaurant a refreshing blast from the past and we intend to go out of our way to eat there again. I would suggest that you make a reservation. Had we walked in 2 minutes later, we wouldn’t have had a place to sit.

If you go on a Friday or Saturday, make a reservation. We didn't, and our party of 6 waited an hour. Food was good.. but we waited forever to get our check so we could leave.

Had a reservation, showed up on time with my party. The two younger girls at the front were rude and basically said no, they said they didn't find it. There was a very kind server that tried to make this right. We waited for over an hour just to be told by the younger girls no again. The waitress shook her head in frustration because she knew there was space for us and we were the second group in the door. Won't be trying to attend this place again.

Simply the best steaks ever. The level of beef he serves impeccably cooked in the best seasons. The grilled shrimp is fabulous. All of the sides are fresh and often vegetables are the best of what's in season. Greg and his darling wife along with a staff they have employed for a long time will see to it that you are well fed. If we lived closer we would be there weekly but when we do it's always a pleasure from start to finish. Get reservations as everyone shares our opinion!
