Stopped in for a donut and got a $6 cinnamon roll since it was on the menu. Sadly the roll’s outer layer was overcooked and dry, the icing was scooped on from a tub in the refrigerator so it was cold, and it had a weird flavor to it that seemed like a mild citrus flavor which I did not like or expect. Ate the middle and threw the burnt part away, Cinnabon is significantly better if that tells you anything.

This food was barely edible. This is clearly NOT the same quality as Astro in DC.

Went for weekend brunch and everything was delicious. Avocado toast and burritos made vegetarian were all great. The cinnamon rolls are amazing!Vegetarian options: Although you wouldn’t expect a restaurant with fried chicken in the name to cater to vegetarians there are a handful of delicious options especially for brunch. It was very easy to make modification's. We substituted the meat for avocado in the breakfast burrito and avocado toast was already vegetarian. They also do Oatmilk lattes. There are a lot of apps without meat and both an impossible and mushroom burger.

We got the crème brûlée donut, the coconut pineapple raspberry jam donut, and some chicken tenders with their signature sauce and buttermilk ranch. Absolutely delicious, kind staff.

I ordered 30 mini cake doughnuts and since they could only fit 4 of the 5 flavors in the branded box, they put the other flavor in a cardboard generic box. These were a gift for someone so to not have them all in one box wasn't the best look. However, the cakes themselves were good. Maybe just fix the packaging issues.

This place was delicious. We enjoyed an assortment of mini doughnuts, coffee, and tots, and we were very satisfied. A must visit!

Great coffee and doughnuts! The maple bacon doughnut and apple crisp doughnut are a must.

If you're looking for a juicy crispy fried chicken sandwich, this isn't going to scratch your itch. It was sawdust dry, cold, and the breading was soggy. However, the flavor was good so it has potential. Also their Astro sauce is great and the tots were just right. I'll stick to Hot Lola's and maybe try the doughnuts here instead.

Listennnnnnn, I've had Astro Doughnuts before and they are amazing. But the one in VA is the only one that gives you a doughnut with espresso in it! They cut a hole in the doughnut put Nutella in there and that keeps it from soaking the doughnut.....whoever invited this is a genius. Chicken sandwiches was one of the best I've had in the DMV. The service was fantastic. She informed me on the specials and how the coffee doughnut was made.

Received a coupon in the mail to check out Astro doughnuts and fried chicken. I ordered a breakfast sandwich (Belgium waffle with buffalo chicken) and it was NOT a good combination. The waffle ends up being soggy and the buffalo chicken is such a distinct taste that eating it with something sweet like waffles tastes awkward. Service is average. I ordered an iced coffee but they ended up giving me a hot coffee instead. There may be a language barrier but I let it go. It's a small seating area in the establishment with tables but it was empty when I walked in.

Ok! I have to review because the hype was way over the top. I ordered 3 cookies and cream, 1 cherry cheesecake, 1 creme Brule, 1 tutti fruity. The cookies are cream was a dark chocolate butter donut. Only "cream" was what wasn't scrapped off the cookie topping. Bitter and distasteful. Texture was fine. The cherry cheesecake? Huge let down. No cheesecake taste. All I tasted was the filling which tasted like it came out if a can. For a $5 donut? No thank you. The tuti fruity? The cereal was stale and the key lime glaze was very artificial in taste. Now for the "best one" the creme Brule which brought me here in the first place. A huge Shane. Barely any creme. It definitely didn't taste like creme Brule and the texture of the donut was off. Needless to say, after trying every one and really wanting to like them, after spending a lot of $ on 6 donuts, they all went in the trash. Will not be returning and definitely will not recommend. The service was great however.

The Shirlington store messed up my order and when I tried to call NOBODY ANSWERED there was ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! The food looks good but the lack of respect for my business is unacceptable! There are plenty of good restaurants around here, customer service is where you can make a difference
