Vegetarian options: Fantastic sushi, but also many vegetarian options: tempura, udon, yakisoba. Even the avocado and cucumber rolls were large and made with care.

A true, small independent restaurant. No fancy decor, but very, very good food! Excellent sushi, outstanding ramen, at fair prices (we spent less than $40/person incl. tip).We went on a Sunday early evening and had no wait for our table, fast service, and did I mention the food? SO GOOD!!Tip: there are two parking spots to pull into right before you get to the restaurant on the right

We are not from here, but have family in the area. This is always our first stop when we come to visit. The fish is fresh and delicious!

A cozy local sushi place. This place has super fresh sushi/sashimi. Being an avid fisherman and making my own sushi ,I can tell the freshness and the sushi chef’s skills. I ordered white tuna, scallop and regular tuna and it was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this place.

This place was really, really, really, really, really, really delicious^^ The fried pork cutlet was super crispy and the sauce was super delicious, I highly recommend it??? And the udon noodles were chewy too!!! The sushi ? was very delicious and the service was good and friendly, I highly recommend it!! Personally, I recommend pork cutlet, raw fish, sushi, or ramen!! The quantity was plentiful and good haha, may the boss prosper ^^

One of the worst sushi places I have ever tried. Something was really off with the rice. Rolls ordered with nori were not crisp. One of my rolls was wrong, and when I told the server, she just mumbled something and walked away. If you want decent sushi in that area, look for kusshi. Place smelled of cigarettes probably because the chefs were smoking and leaving the back door open. They do not like to/claim not to take AMEX but if you press the issue they will. Won't be back.

The food used to be really good but the sushi rolls have really slipped. Ordered several kinds and just so so. This is the 2nd time we went there and it was just average.

This place isn't a whole lot to look at from the outside and it's crammed in with a bunch of other restaurants along 23rd. The staff greeted us promptly and the service was very good and very attentive. The sushi was amazingly fresh and really quite delicious. We had mostly nigiri and a spicy crab roll. The pieces of fish on the nigiri were huge and definitely good value for the price. I will be back to try more things. They also seemed to have a very nice selection of rolls that I will need to try next time I go in! I meant to take photos, but well, it looked so good it was eaten before I remembered to take the pictures.

Came here late (an hour before closing after a gym session) and we ordered the ramen. It came with a side salad (with peanut sauce) - the side salad and dressing was excellent. The ramen itself was serviceable - not bad but no where near as good as other options in the DMV area. The broth leaned too much on salt and oil for flavor - it lacked other seasoning, resulting in the dish being very salty without much additional flavor. The meat was slightly dry and the noodles on the softer, slightly overcooked side. It's nice that it's open later than many other restaurants in the area so it's decent for what is available at 9:30pm - but at a normal lunch and dinner time, I would not seek out this place.

Food was actually something to be a bit desired. Were out of a couple of thingsBeef teriyaki was extremely chewy, jerky like.Chicken katsu was just really dry.Pork bone broth in the ramen was weirdly fishy. Like it was spoiled? But staff was nice and respectful
