The cheese pizza was awful. I will not buy pizza from them again.Vegetarian options: I have no issue choosing a vegetarian dish for my daughter.

Food was great. But the service was worst. We were still eating and having our drink but the waiter rudely kept the bill on the table even before we asked for it and started cleaning up the table and took the drink away which was half filled. I said sorry but I am still drinking. He made a weird face and went away. Then when he came back I politely mentioned that We understand that its almost the closing time but we would have liked it if you would have just asked us if we are done before cleaning up the table.' He again made weird face and left. I don't think so this is the customer service that we are expecting.

Service could be more attentive but overall acceptable! Food is better than expected considering how many types of dishes they have (American, Spanish, Asian, European, etc). Prices are alright, portions are generous.I'd go again once in a while.Parking: Mall Parking and Costco parking

Went to a reunion and saw friends for the first time in years. The staff couldn't have treated us better. They allowed us to stay in the restaurant even after hours! The food was GREAT. Amazing salads and pizza.I will go back.

Good was great and the server was great with our child. We got up from the table as quick as we could, when a roach crawled across the table and our food. My child’s cheese pizza is in the photo, which he was still eating until it was contaminated. When we got up, the server brought over the check which was very thoughtful and punctual. Again, the server was great. When we showed the server the roach, she went to get the manager. We were then informed the manager “was not available to discuss.”We left and called corporate.

had a tasty avocado egg roll. i wish the menu labeled there was pork in the dish, but i didn’t disclose my restriction to the server, so it’s not anyone’s fault. overall our server was incredibly kind and we all enjoyed our food. the menu has diverse options.

We stopped by on our trip to the Pentagon mall. Our waitress was a sweet lady. The male who greeted us as we entered the restaurant was not polite and should not be the face of the restaurant- He had no personality. The thin crust pepperoni pizza was good. We shared it for 2 adults. My kids shared the kids pizza , 6 small slices was good for them (age 9&2). The strawberry lemonade was very sweet. The dynamite shrimp was good just cannot eat too much of it in one setting. We spent $48

My first time visiting this place was not a pleasant experience. An older black male was my waiter and he was extremely rude to me. I went to pay for my food after dining in and the treatment I received was very unprofessional. The waiter proceeded to engage in an inappropriate conversation about me.I paid for my food and asked for a receipt and he became angry. I over heard him telling a female employee that I didn’t write a tip on the receipt and that he will make sure that I never eat there again. He went on to say that I was new that and that I have never been there before. When he went to hand me my receipt he said that there’s no need for him to keep the receipts and that he only keeps the receipts if a tip is provided on the receipt but he said it so aggressively in an angry tone.I couldn’t believe what I was hearing and how I was poorly treated because I never write tips out on a receipt. I normally provide a separate tip but because of his negative attitude and negative comments, I decided not to provide a tip.I decided to visit again for the second time thinking that maybe I had misunderstood the situation but to my surprise I was treated poorly again by the same waiter. This time he begin to asked me questions and never greeted me in a polite manner. He asked me if I was the person that sat at the booth in the corner last week and pointed to the booth. I told him yes. He then asked me if someone tried to seat me at a different table and I said No. He then said that he would go and find out if someone tried to sit me at a different table and he walked away.I sat there waiting for him to return. He did return after a few minutes and had an attitude and acted as if he didn’t want to serve by saying in a rude manner that he would go ahead and serve me this time. The entire time I was polite by saying Thank you. I almost asked him if there was an issue with me being there but I decided that I just wanted to enjoy my day.The second visit confirmed that I was right about how I was treated my first visit because I was being treated the same way on my second visit. Poor customer service over a tip. I felt that I didn’t need to provide a tip for poor customer service and that I am only responsible for paying for my food. I just can’t reward bad behavior. Throughout this entire visit, I remained calm and polite even though I didn’t receive the same treatment in return. I hope that the waiter provides better customer service for my future visit because I would never return if this is how they treat customers.

My grandchildren are in a trip to visit the capital, they are on a fixed budget for meals.I understand kids are demanding etc, but I am not sure what the issue is with the food when kids are saying the pizza tastes bland. The brownies are less than quality, almost as if they were left out and allowed to get dry and crusty. As for the service, I know kids are difficult at times, but when a child asks for a simple cup of ranch, tge attitude givin to the child is not necessary and goes beyond quality service. To walk off and mumbling that they weren't getting "thst kid any ranch" and snapping to another server to do it, is less than professional.Yet another server did bring ranch but done so with a passive aggressive attitude.

My waiter had an attitude with me because I asked for a simple thing of RANCH. He told me I would have to wait for a while for it. He then commanded another waiter to get me some ranch. The first waiter walked off mumbling to himself "I ain't getting those kids some ranch". The second waiter that he commanded brought me some ranch and gave it to me in the most passive aggressive way possible. Also the brownies are rubber-like.

My recent visit to California Pizza Kitchen in Arlington was a pleasant surprise, offering a delightful twist on traditional pizza and some unique appetizers. The star of the show was the Original BBQ Sauce Pizza, and I also had the opportunity to try the Avocado Rolls. The Original BBQ Sauce Pizza was a flavor-packed adventure. The crust had a satisfying crunch, and the combination of toppings showcased a thoughtful blend of sweet and savory. The barbecue sauce added a rich, smoky flavor that complemented the perfectly melted cheese and tender chicken. While I thoroughly enjoyed this pizza, I found that the crust, while tasty, could have been a bit thinner for my personal preference. The Avocado Rolls were a refreshing departure from the usual appetizer fare. Stuffed with creamy avocado, crunchy veggies, and a hint of spice, they provided a unique and satisfying start to the meal. The accompanying dipping sauce added an extra layer of flavor, enhancing the overall experience. However, I would have appreciated a bit more avocado in each roll to make the flavor more pronounced. The ambiance of California Pizza Kitchen was casual and inviting, making it a suitable spot for a laid-back meal with friends or family. The service was prompt, and the staff was friendly, adding to the positive dining experience.CPK offers a solid menu with creative twists, and I would recommend it to those looking for a tasty departure from standard pizza fare. I look forward to exploring more of their menu on future visits!
