I stopped in for the first time and tried two street food dishes, chole bhature and tandori fish. Like others have mentioned, there's a buffet table, but it's not like a typical buffet. I think commonly ordered food is kept there and they'll dish it up. My chickpeas might have been from there but the fried bread that came with it was fresh and delicious. The tandoori fish was mehhh. It turned out to be tilapia so that explains it.I ordered an iced tea, I would have needed to prompt for a refill, but I was full. The decore is nice and there's Indian music/music video playing which I thought was fun.I will 100% go back.

Delhi Dhaba is my go-to place for Indian takeout in the Arlington area. The flavors of their food are amazing and the ambiance of the restaurant truly takes you to another place. Their service is top-notch and I recommend everyone to try their amazing food, both dine-in and take out! Some of my favorites include the Paneer Makhani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani and their amazing Mango Lassi.

Service was by FAR the worst I've ever received. Food was just "ok"... nothing to brag about and definitely NOT worth the hour drive. Rice was certainly OLD and hard. Truly can't get over the horrible, horrible service. A server had the never to encourage us to pay in cash and TOLD over us while we paid and TIPPED! No shock we gave a very minimal tip and cared less that he was standing over us... the first time we actually received some darn service.

Came for lunch on a Sunday! The restaurant is spacious and the outdoor decorations are really cute. Ordered the lassi flight, and overall all the lassi flavors could have been more amped up but it was fun to get variety. The palak chaat was amazing! Ordered the palak paneer, goat vindaloo, and Goan shrimp curry. The goat and the paneer were just okay but the shrimp was amazing. Overall, the entree prices seemed a little high for the amount of food you get. Would try this place again though!

Nice and quiet restaurant. Every food item I tried was a 10/10. The salty lassi is actually quite salty, be mindful if you choose to order that. The food took a while to come out but everything was made to order and they gave us a heads up about that so I was fine with that. The servers were very attentive as well.

Finally tried this restaurant after having two friends recommend it. As an Arlington local myself I wasn't sure what to expect because I haven't found a good Indian spot in my neighborhood that I like. However, Delhi Dhaba was delicious. I came with my parents and we ordered the Vegetable Pakora, Samosa Chaat, Malai Kofta, Vegetable Korma, Garlic naan and Onion Kulcha. Everything was tasty and the spice level was perfect (we didn't ask them for extra spicy or anything, just as is). Only reason I'm giving four stars is because the server took some time to help our table but once the order was in, the service was quick and efficient. The restaurant is decorated so cutely with the Hindi alphabet on the wall. Something I haven't seen before, different and interesting. Next time I come I want to try the pani puri!

Phone operator threatens that if I don’t pay before placing an order that I will not be able to order almost two hours before their advertised closing hours. When I reminded him of the time, he ignored it and said they close earlier than posted time. Food was so tasteless that I plan to go back the next day and give it back to the restaurant. Nothing that resembles Delhi, neither food, not the aggressive culture or the threatening attitude. Would not recommend this place at all. Waste of my time and money.

FANTASTIC FOOD… BUT DON’T ORDER TAKEOUT!The food at Dehli Dhaba is fantastic; definitely the best Indian food in Arlington, by quite a lot. The lamb biryani is stunning, with a great presentation under a na’an lid. Remodeled interior is comfortable and welcoming.Weirdly, though, when we’ve ordered from here on Door Dash, the food has been incredibly disappointing: bland, overcooked, and watery. My neighborhood spies tell me that they may be using food that has been sitting out in the buffet. That is super disappointing, to say the least. We don’t order takeout from here anymore.

Great food with a playful, creative presentation. Loved the lamb Rogan Josh and the aloo tikki chaat!

This is not what it used to be. The food is very bland and they are cutting costs and not using the proper amount of spices. I have been eating there thirty years and will never order again.

Authentic Indian spot in the neighbourhood. Proper good food. Our favorites are: palak paneer, paneer makhani, garlic naan (huge!) and the tandoori shrimp (actually jumbo shrimp, looks like the menu photo). Lamb vindaloo is spicy and delicious as well. Typical fare like butter chicken and chicken tikka masala are good too. Great for takeaway!
