Eating clean never felt so good, especially on a weekend. Despite the crazy brunch rush, we got seated and served rather quickly. Their veggie offerings may not be the most filling options, so grab a dessert while you can. It balances it all out right?Arlington is such an underrated part of the DMV, and a must to visit while taking friends and the touristy crowd!

Came by here for lunch with my friend since she's a vegan and they have an extensive vegan menu. I personally got the Poke bowl because that's what I was craving and while it was fine, it left my feeling somewhat hungry. I was unsatisfied with the flavors (it was mostly bland) and wish it had some more punch. Overall, it was a pricey meal for the level of food. I did enjoy my green tea latte but with all the great food options in Arlington, this is one I would skip next time.

I went here once when I worked in the area. It was around my birthday so I went with some coworkers who were nice enough to treat me. You order in the front and then go sit down and they'll bring your food when it's ready. I got the burger and we all shared an avocado toast. The burger was pretty good, nothing super special but good and juicy. Nothing to complain about there. The avocado toast was really good!! The pickled onions were a nice touch and the bread it was on was nice and hearty. This was a good place but the price was kinda expensive and the food wasn't necessarily anything to drool over. If you're into organic/super healthy places and overpaying for that experience this may be more for you.

This place is excellent all around. Great vegan, paleo, and vegetarian food options with a friendly and knowledgeable staff - not to mention great coffee and dessert options! Thanks for all you do to keep the options delicious and nutritious for those of us who don’t have time to cook like that every night :)

Probably the best cheesesteak I've had in my life. Believe me when I say, I dont take the title lightly. I've traveled to Philly just to try and find the premium cheesesteak. Only to find a bunch of cheese whiz oily vegetables. Until stumbling upon this one the best I've had was when whole foods sold them at their burger station....& they used strip steak. But besides the Cheesesteak this spot is hands down a hidden gem. They have plenty of locally sourced, uniquely crafted organic and vegetarian options on top of the classics! They've got funky hip lemonades and a fresh approach to ordering, flex fast casual, table service. It's not to be missed. Check out my pictures of my picky two year old...the hardest to please, his smile goes to show you that his meal was to his liking!

This place is spectacular!! Both the food and service are wonderful. The Matcha Pancakes were extremely delicious and super light! Also I didn't get a picture of the Vegan Burger or cookie I got, but they were super yummy too. I'll definitely eat here again if I happen to be in the area.

Me and my coworker came here looking to try this place out again since we loved the DIRTy Burger the first time. We got lucky and got in when there was only a few in line but it quickly got busy after ordering. We ordered two DIRTy vegan burgers, two orders of the home-style potatoes, two orders of the sweet potatoes, and a cup of lentil soup. It took a little under 5 minutes to get the burgers and potatoes but not the soup but we thought we heard the employee say that the rest was coming. We stood there for about 15-20 minutes while other people who arrived after us received their orders. When it died down, it took about another 5 minutes to get his attention and he ask what we were waiting for so we were finally able to get the soup. Another thing is that my co worker was missing his home-style potatoes from his order completely but did not even realize until we got back to work. I'm still giving this two stars because the burger and spicy cashew chipotle sauce were still great after 45 minutes of travel time. Disappointed by the service but I plan on trying it out one more time.

Literally the best poke bowl my boyfriend and I have ever had.

My boyfriend and I visited Dirt this past weekend and were so disappointed by the terrible service. Being big foodies we've been wanting to try this place for some time now. Upon arrival, we were not greeted by any of the ladies working behind the counter. I figured, maybe they were busy so I didn't think anything about it. As we placed our order, there was no "Hi, how are you?" the lady had a grin on her face the whole time. She clearly did not want to be there and was unhelpful when we asked questions about the menu. Again, I didn't think anything of it. When our food arrived, the plate was tossed across the table. That's when my boyfriend and I decided their customer service was lacking BIG time. On top of that, my boyfriends burger was served on a whole wheat bread (eww). The menu clearly stated all burgers are served on a brioche bun. When he told the lady at the counter about this mistake she said "yeah we are out, sorry" she was very unapologetic. Usually at an establishment like this they offer a refund or ask if we want to order something else instead. What bothered us the most was the fact that they failed to let the customer know that they ran out of a key ingredient for the day. If my boyfriend had known his BURGER would be served on wheat bread he would have not purchased it in the first place. The ketchup bottles were completely empty so we were unable to enjoy our tater tots as the sauce that it was served with was watery and bland. Of course we didn't notify this issue with any of the workers because they were clearly annoyed of us so we didn't want to bother them. 2 stars for cute ambiance and decor! We really wanted to love Dirt but sadly this experience left a really bad taste in our mouth.

This is the place to go if you need to be convinced vegan food can be delicious. I got the açaí bowl and the Avocado Toast - both were well worth it!!

Yummy!Went here for brunch on Sunday - party of four - arrived in two shifts at 11AM. Lucky to get a table for four inside. Order and the counter and they bring to your table. (There is ample outdoor seating too - but it was a bit chilly for that yesterday.) Great coffee to start (CRAZY hot - careful!). Shared the sweet potato tots loaded with chili. Super yum - loved the sauce to drizzle! Had the "Clean Bowl" as main - egg white, kale, sweet potato, red peppers, turkey bacon and other stuff I can't remember. Great combo! Very satisfying. I would have liked the accompanying sauce to have a little more kick/spice to it, but otherwise, it was divine! And super fresh (and pretty!). Really nice staff too - they pay attention to their customers from when you walk in the door to when you depart. Impressed all around and I will return!

Although the sandwich I had was great, I had the Mac and Cheese and it ruined my lunch. It's as if someone explained to a vegan what Mac and Cheese tastes like and they came up with this dish and sold it wo anyone tasting it. Gross. Thanks for ruining ever ordering that at any other 'vegan' place in the future.

I love this place so much! The staff is always so kind to answer my thousands of questions and everyone is kind, patient, and happy to help. The interior is super cool, I feel like I'm in a tropical treehouse with all the plants and greenery around! As far as food goes, the boyfriend and I got the (Vegan) Matcha Protein Pancakes and the Vegan Sausage + Egg + Cheese Sandwich. I've had the sandwich before and fell in love with it immediately, but my boyfriend ordered it this time with the everything bagel (from Call Your Mother!!) and this time I died and went to vegan breakfast heaven. The sausage was bomb and the cheese was delicious and melty. The "eggs" were not as firm as other vegan eggs I've had, but the taste is def there, making this baby a 10/10 epic choice. Sadly I can't say the same for the pancakes. I was a little disappointed as I've been wanting to try them for a while. They were not fluffy like traditional pancakes are. In fact, they were almost chewy and even crunchy around the edges. I personally didn't care for the oven-roasted apples on top, but this is because I'm very particular about texture when it comes to food. I just didn't like the chewiness of the apples on the already slightly chewy pancakes. The agave berry coulis (puréed berries) was a nice touch--not too sweet as I expected it would be. Also just a word of warning, if you're avoiding caffeine you should avoid these pancakes bc the matcha def has it in there. Overall a decent choice, but I probably wouldn't order them again. Just a personal preference.

This was my second visit here and it's a bit... disorganized. Food took a very long time to come out, wasn't what I expected, dishes all came out at very different times. Will give it one more shot because I love their menu.

After my fourth try, I'm left with so many questions about Dirt. Do people really, honestly like this place? Or do the hip little potted succulents just distract us from the bland, utter sadness that is Dirt's food? Is it called "Dirt" because that's what I wish I had eaten instead of a $15 bowl of completely flavorless rice and "artisanal" beans? Case in point: this is the $8 "grilled" cheese that I bought today. But, I have to consider that maybe the problem is me? Maybe I'm just not hip enough to appreciate this raw, deconstructed grilled cheese experience.
