We are regular customers of Ghin Na Ree. Terrific service, wonderfully flavorful dishes reminiscent of our time in Thailand, generous portions, and never a poor experience. Highly recommended.

This is by far my favorite restaurant. They accommodated GLUTEN FREE with their pad Thai and it is to die for. The portions are amazing as well, I always have leftovers to munch on.

Great lunch specials and friendly wait staff. I always end up taking some of my main dish home for another meal! Small but usually not crowded.

I don’t know if I caught them at a bad time, but it’s probably the worst restaurant food I’ve had in years, and the first time in my life I haven’t liked a Thai place. No hyperbole, could not make it through more than 1/4 of the plate.Pad Thai tasted like a reptile cage; just… sickeningly fishy and pungent, like eating straight fish sauce. Drunken noodle was weirdly sweet and had a root beer (?!) flavor to the sauce.Price is indeed too good to be true.

Have been looking for a Thai restaurant to call "home' for a while and think we just found it. We ordered some of the standards one might hope to get from a quick-serve Thai diner and in addition to being substantial portions, the meals were very easy to enjoy. Slightly Americanized for less spicy, but I'm ordering from here again. Pleasant surprise!Parking: Busy lot but they are a little farther from the rest of the mall, so parking was available for a quick pick up.

Their portions were huge, but it was all down hill from there. We decided to go there for dinner tonight. Got there and was told they did not do sit down dinners, only lunch. (???) It would have been nice to have that information posted on the website (and on their storefront) before driving all the way over there. We ordered carryout anyway since we were there already. We got chicken pad see euw, chicken satay, yum talay, yumnuea, spring rolls, won ton soup, and shrimp drunken noodles. Aside from the yum talay and yumnuea being moderately spicy, all the food was bland. There was some physical evidence of garlic and basil and other spices and potential good things but the flavors were missing. The noodles were bloated and crumbled. The wontons were small and had next to no filling. (My daughter described the soup as tasting like warm water.) The satay was burnt and rubbery. And no dessert served. This was an entirely disappointing experience for me.

This place rocks. The food is good and portions are large. Sometimes they will close for a couple of weeks to go on vacation (back to Thailand I think) - so you may want to call ahead in the summer.

Tried this place today for the first time and we were all underwhelmed. Background: we’ve visited Thailand a couple of times (and did cooking classes both times), we order Thai food often, and I cook a lot, including Thai food. The reviews for this place seem to fall in two camp (great or terrible), and I can see both sides. As food: sure, it’s tasty. Almost anything Thai is tasty by default. But as Thai food, it’s not what I’m looking for. Reminds me of something I (definitively a non-Asian cook) could easily make myself, or maybe what would be typical “home cooking” by a Thai family. But just like with any other cuisine, I’m looking for a higher level of taste and quality from a restaurant. The pad see ew tasted only like boiled noodles, steamed broccoli, soy sauce, and sautéed pork. The red curry tasted like coconut milk and spice, and maybe a bit of curry paste. The papaya salad was decent. But everything was significantly lacking in depth and complexity of flavors, and the quality and technique certainly could have been better. Bottom line: I’d happily eat it again if it were the only option, but there are plenty of other Thai restaurants I’d choose first. (Elephant Jumps is one of our favorites, if you’re looking for a recommendation.) On the bright side, service was super friendly and fast.

Weird experience today. Told restaurant just had Covid. Where are the servers masks or gloves? Didn't see any precautions used. Told of Covid after we ate! Food wasn't good either!!! Seemed rude to ask us to leave but server did! She said she needed our table for people waiting but others were coming and going without a word to them. We had been there less than 1 hour & there were plenty of other available spaces!

Family run local restaurant. Very loyal customer following. Family is beyond nice. Is it the best Thai food out there? No. Is it still solid with amazing portions? 1000x yes.

Amazing thai cuisine and you can request a special touch and they will come up with a perfect dish! It’s time we wrote a review after all the years we have enjoyed their food and service. We have been going to Gin Na Ree, take out for two decades and it is our family favorite!! We always get drunken noodles, shrimp basil , dumplings, pepper beef and vegetable green curry! It’s the best! The portions are generous and the staff super friendly, it’s a joy going there.

My whole work place orders from here constantly. Small business family run. Great portions and flavors. Some of the locals in the area are pretentious privleged white people who complain about everything and are never satisfied (especially white people judging whats thai food coming from a thai family). I always get curry, spring rolls and drunken noodles. Amazing and never disappointed. They deserve more stars for dealing with bad customers in a snobby area.

This small, family own and ran shop has the friendliest staff along with some of the best Thai food in Arlington. My favorite is the drunken noodles, I've had it all over, definitely a top contender Better tasting than the Drunken Noodles you can get from the MGM Casino and Hotel too, so if you'd even think about shelling out money there for their Asian/Thai food I rather you spend it here and support them! Curries are one of the best you'll find in Arlington too, even better than some places that may have "curry" in it's name too... ?

Amazing lunch special. I got the pad gra prow with chicken. The flavor is good without being too spicy. Enough food for 2 full meals. Huge portion of great food for a low price. What more can you ask for?
