I ordered my food and was directed to an order number on the receipt that would be called when my order was ready. I waited a while and there didn't seem to be any other customers waiting for their food. My number was called and went to grab my food. One of the workers said something while turning away and I could not make out what was said. (The place is located in the gate area in a busy airport.) Since whatever was said was not clearly directed at me, I grabbed my food and sat down. About 5 minutes later, the staff started yelling at me saying I'd taken the wrong order. There was no attempt at figuring out what happened from my end, just yelling that I took the wrong order after they told me what it was, then glaring and walking away. I lost my appetite completely after that treatment, and I am utterly confused by what system they are using to ensure orders are correct and given to the right person. The food was also mediocre so this is not a place I will ever eat at again.

The customer service was terrible on 2/1/24 at 1100. The lady working the cashier register was very rude and dismissive. She never smiled nor was she polite. I would not recommend

I got the Hazelnut crepe with whipped cream and powdered sugar and a black regular coffee. With tip, it came out to a little over $18. I wanted to get the banana caramel crepe but they had no caramel. Let me tell you that this crepe is AMAZING!! Someone's review recommended to get the whipped cream....GET IT!! TREAT YO SELF!! The whipped cream alone was worth it!! This will be my go to spot when flying through DCA.

Terrible customer service. Very rude impolite. Honestly some of the worst airport food I ever encountered. They should be replaced honestly.

One of the worst airport meals I've had. The breakfast sandwich was made with untoasted white bread that was just warmed and buttered on the outside. I ended up getting a fork and eating the inside of the sandwich, which was still just tolerable. Maybe we'd have had better luck with the crepes.

Edited to lower to one star. I have been sick after eating the food here. It ruined the first day and a half of my vacation. I have only been able to keep down liquids so far. Please go somewhere else.----This was a disappointing meal. I got a breakfast sandwich with bacon and eggs. The bread was soggy, and the eggs tasted like powedered eggs. Water was as expensive as coffee. Service was fast which is good, but recommend you eat somewhere else for breakfast.

This is my second time here, and I came early to the airport so I would have time for this. The bacon, egg, and cheese crepe is the perfect breakfast for me.

The name sounds good, but when you see it in person it tastes like ass. Dry, no taste, not even salt or pepper. Fake eggs, and turkey. Not appetizing at all.

Be aware of ordering from them if your flight is going to depart in an hour! (Even if your gate is right next to it, go buy from others)As having worked in the retail & restaurant industry before, I normally don't leave reviews under 5 stars. So during my visit, the customer before me had a crepe with cream. And the staff made a soft serve ice cream. So after the cashier lady took my order, she told her two co-workers behind her about my order (yield TWICE), and she left the counter to find someone to help refund the ice cream. The two workers left DID nothing. Start chatting and stand there relaxing. I was waiting at the pickup location for my food. After a while, I saw my flight start boarding, I asked them, "excuse me, are you going to make my order?" She's like "oh what's your order?"Anyway, not to mention all the difficulties to communicate in English, the staff has very short term memories and doesn't seem like they are coming to work.In my own opinion, if the staff has a language barrier of understanding English, please change your menu board in SPANISH or whatever they can understand.I totally respect any kitchen staff's language limitations but not for people who aren't even willing to work!I finally got my menu item sandwich+ a coffee when the boarding was almost done. Thanks for this order, I can't store my carry on above my seat.

One of the worst places I’ve ever gotten food. First, I stood in line looking at the cashier for about 20 minutes before anyone decided to help me. A man behind me yelled about not being able to get any service which I think prompted the girls to actually start taking orders. The three of them were literally just standing behind the counter, laughing and talking, while people formed a line and waited for someone to help us. Luckily I had a two hour layover so I had the time, but I should have just walked away. I ordered the ham and cheese crepe and it was mediocre at best. No complaints, though - it’s airport food and I knew what to expect when I ordered it. However, I made a joke in passing to my partner that I would probably get food poisoning from the crepe because the ham looked a little funny when it was taken out of the fridge. Sure enough, I became violently ill after eating the crepe and contemplated going to the hospital when the food poisoning symptoms continued after 48 hours. Someone really needs to investigate how those workers handle and store the food, and also maybe just retrain them on basic customer service skills.

It's incredibly unfortunate, but this Cafe has plenty of potential. Unfortunately, they hire the worst customer service employees. I was looking at the Menu to decide what to eat, 3 employees were carrying a personal conversation, completely ignoring me. A woman with absolutely zero people skills walk from behind the counter, and past me as I was standing in front of the register looking at the menu, bumped into me, continued her conversation with the other 2 employees. I told the woman who bumped into me "excuse you", but she ignored me and simply kept going on with their personal conversations and just walked away. It's very possible that the woman that bumped into me, may not even be a Magic Pan employee and rather just another employee of a nearby establishment. Either way, as tasty as their crepes may look. I refuse to give my business to any establishment that lacks the ability to hire personal, amicable, customer oriented employees. I highly recommend that you go a few feet from the Magic Pan and visit Dunkin donuts. They probably have better service.
