The empanadas are very delicious, I really liked the spinach and cheese one, but the meat one was also very tasty, and their sauces were very good. The place is very nice, it has a couple of swings to take photos, instagrammable. It is very clean. The girl who served us mmm normal.

The empanadas are terrific. Great coffee too, especially the cappuccino. I only wish they would open early. This would be a super place for breakfast. And now they just told me they will be discontinuing the "specialty" empanadas, which is a real shame. I have been here dozens of times but have yet to see the owner. The staff is very nice but I'd love to try to persuade the owner to open for breakfast (and not to discontinue some of the best empanada offerings)

They need lime juice or lime (at least lemon) for the empanadas. That's a must people! No questions asked. Also, on Sunday morning, a server came 30 minutes late, delaying the whole process.

Very tasty with tons of options. So cool how the "flavor" of each Mpanada is engraved on it.

Very tasty! I like that the empanada flavor names are stamped into the dough!

Cute place with cute food. The type of empanada is stamped in the edge . Pretty good food.

Bunch of great flavors in the empanadas - loved the shrimp option - and nice vegetarian choices to boot! Playful inside with a bunch of llamas that the kids loved.

The empanadas are ok, you can definitely tell they're not made fresh but just reheated upon order. The meat in mine was overly dry. For the price, I'd expect freshly made empanadas, so I was quite disappointed. I also didn't really care for the coffee.

I've gone to Mpandas many times since it opened. The empanads are good for being reheated when ordered and the sauce is AMAZING.Sadly, they have stuggled to find a price point profitable enough and have reduced the amount of sauce given with your order 3 times now. They've recently raised their prices while reducing the sauce given with your order (now its 1 sauce cup for 3 empandas which is streched too thin) and it doesn't feel like enough value for the money anymore.Would recommend other options on Columbia Pike for the current price point.

Been seeing the "coming soon" signs at this place all last year and had a chance to try last night, as me and my wife didn't feel like cooking and it was a Friday night! The Three empanadas, drink and a 1 sauce is decently priced at $16 for a filling meal. Parking is limited and there are no tables for groups. You're better off ordering for pickup. My favorite is the Spicy Pork empanada filled with pork, black beans and corn. For reference, the spice level of the Spicy Pork and their "Mild" sauce is about that of Taco Bell "Fire" sauce. At 6PM, a lot of their menu items were sold out or otherwise not available. Looks like this place is better at lunchtime. Since it's hard to get parking, I would either park at the garage across the street and walk 4 minutes, or order for pickup or to delivery. Unfortunately, there would not be enough seating to bring work colleagues here. Better to organize an empanada party at the office. VIDEO

I never leave reviews unprompted but we came here for dinner one night and enjoyed it so much that we came back for breakfast. I don't know what their spicy sauce is but I want to put it on everything I eat for the rest of my life. We recommend the spicy pork, chorizo potato, and Nutella strawberry banana!Vegetarian options: 6 options, deliciousParking: 10 spots or something, more parking nearby

Yum! We live within walking distance and were waiting for what felt like forever for it to open. We went on opening weekend and only got the popsicles…big mistake! Don’t get me wrong, they’re adorable and delicious, but the empanadas are glorious! We went back again and tried the spinach and cheese and the vegetarian ones. The corn outside is sooo good! It’s a warm hug as you bite into the cheesy goodness. Needless to say, I find myself popping in there whenever I’m walking that way without the dog!Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options and not a portobello burger in sight (phew!)Kid-friendliness: On opening day, we got a balloon and a little baggie. We usually do take out, so haven’t spent much time in the adorable eat in area.

An amazing hidden find! They had really cute Christmas decorations. We got the 7 empanada combo and they were all fantastic. We will definitely be back to try the rest. Get the lattes!
