Fantastic Irish and restaurant. The setting was great for a date night or a night to watch NCAA basketball or in our case, both! We shared the goat cheese salad as a starter and the chocolate lava cake as a dessert with a delicious meal in between. In addition to the ambience, the server was exceptionally friendly, and made our experience all the better. Right in the heart of Shirlington and close to free parking in the parking garage.

I have had the chance to dine and drink at this pub on several occasions and each one was great. I would recommend this pub for its food and beer whether it’s for lunch, dinner or happy hour. The food is well prepared, tastes great, and the service is on par. The pub boasts ample seating indoors and outdoors. Parking is easy with the numerous garages nearby. We ended up spending almost 3 hours here. It was so easy to do with such good care taken of us and wonderful atmosphere! We enjoyed the shepherd’s pie and chicken curry. The food was delicious! Our server was attentive, but others came by to refill the waters and clear plates and check on us too. The restaurant is beautiful inside, and felt pretty reminiscent of a true Irish pub.Vegetarian options: They had a separate vegetarian menu with several options

The food at this restaurant is perfectly fine, though in my opinion limited in scope. The meals are palatable, but not extraordinary. The service is wonderful. Every time I've gone there, I've had waitpersons who were not only pleasant, but also attentive and efficient.

The service and the staff are one of the best parts of this pub!! Also - the food is delicious, and labeled for gluten free folk like myself. I had chips and dip and a drink, and my friend got the shepherd's pie - we both downed our food and drink. I'm also super appreciative that the staff hosts a silent book club I am a part of - so I'm sure I'll be frequenting here more often for that, and independently of that too!!

We have a company lunch there and it was really great. Everyone was happy with their food. The place is large and the atmosphere is great. It has huge bars and lots of open space for big parties. Little more checking in from the server would’ve been great but overall the place was awesome and we will definitely be going back.

The hot cider and mulled wine were really watered down. The Irish coffee was well made by the bartender, but the coffee was watered down. The Dublin coddle had a really great broth, but unfortunately the veggies were very close to still being raw. At least the service was good.
