Had a great time on my last visit, service was very professional and friendly. However I didn’t like the taste of the French fries and rice. The meat was perfect just like how I like it, eggs were well done and the avocado was frozen. I’ll come here next time. Yes, I do recommend this place!

This restaurant looks unassuming, and I read a number of negative reviews online. Found it via Groupon, and thought it was a gem for a locally owned, ethnic restaurant. (So ethnic that the waitress struggled to under attend our English.) My GF and I both enjoyed our meal, and will be back.

The atmosphere is cute and Going for drinks seems like it would be a fun time. Bartenders are cute and friendly. Just DON'T order food here. I got the pollo saltado. Chicken looked frozen.. all pieces the same size and shape, it smelled like fajita seasoning you get from giant, fries were soft, rice was over cooked and swollen, and all of that was soaked in a soup amount of sauce. I wouldn't make that for myself at home let alone pay $15 to have it again. Play to the strengths, grab a drink in a quirky atmosphere and then find somewhere else to eat!

I like this restaurant a lot. The staff is very friendly. I love the Sopa Mani and Silpancho made here, it's delicious. Over the past few years now they have donated food to a foundation fundraiser party in Virginia I volunteer for. Thanks so much!

Food quality was horrible. The service was just as bad. I thought I was going to get shot in the parking lot because of the restaurants bar could only fit 3 people so they were hanging outside.

The shredded jerky meat was among the best jerky I've had. It was very tasty.

Came for lunch at 1:30pm on a Saturday a day and time that should be extremely busy for a Bolivian restaurant, to our surprise it was empty. That should’ve been a sign. Haven't come to Sibaritas since my first review, figured we would give it a chance since we were craving Asado Borracho and it had been the best we've had in the area. Came for lunch at 1:30pm on a Saturday a day and time that should be extremely busy for a Bolivian restaurant, to our surprise it was empty. That should've been a sign. We ordered a jug of moconchiche, the waitress brought it out and started serving it in flimsy plastic cups instead of glass cups that a sit down restaurant should use. The dish we came for, Asado Borracho was no longer on their menu so we decided to leave, we asked for the drink to be to go and headed out to pay. At the front the waitress was putting it into individual cups-we were a party of 3 and they had 4 cups going and she was still filing more. Most Bolivian restaurants would put it in to go soup containers so that's what I ask the waitress to do. She grabs 2 and pours one, I notice the second looks dirty, so I grab it and not only is it greasy from the outside but it's been washed. It was wet from the inside and it was opaque in color-definitely not new. I tell her this and she just looks at me. No apology, she grabs a few more and silently inspects then. At this point we don't want the drink anymore, I ask for the tab because it's the right thing to do. Still no apology, the waitress said she doesn't deal with the kitchen and says it just the grease from the kitchen on the outside of the container. I shouldn't even have to point out that reusing disposables is a big no! I tell her this and that it clearly has been washed to be reused. She gives us the tab, we pay and still no apology nor an offer to comp the drink. Needless to say we won't be coming back. Sibaritas was once a very reputable restaurant within the Bolivian community, it's sad to see how it's gone down hill.

Just ordered & feeling sick Advice to the staff & kitchen:STOP BEING SO LAZY! Clean your kitchen and cook the food FRESH don't just make stuff and let it sit in oil to save time, IT SHOWS ! Also add more Bolivian dishes like lengua on the menu not just easy to fast grill meats sheesh just get a real Chef who can cook Bolivia foods. Negatives from tonight's order : -the tomatoes for the silpancho tasted like fish -person who took my order was sick sniffling over the loud music and annoyed because it was to loud for him to hear & didn't really try when I'd ask for prices of items or numbers and was annoyed but did eventually get two prices for items (one price was wrong) and was only willing to guess when asking how many cunapez were in a order :-/ -constantly all Bolivian relatives always say the same about the silpancho (has been sitting in oil way to long, thinner then normal, bland, taste like eating a newspaper and now they've added cinnamon which is equivalent to adding cinnamon to a country fried steak- not good) Plantain was completely raw on the inside and ovi sitting in oil and burnt on the outside with the peels still on. -fries also tasted like it was sitting in oil no salt added Two stars for the weekend peanut soup & outdoor area & tasty drinks. Please have better service on the phone, and clean the fridge because it made the tomatoes smell like fish even if you added a lot of vinegar to cover the taste and smell

The outside area looked nice enough but the inside is small and cluttered with a random assortment of items in the bar area. The bar itself was limited in what they had to offer. My wife and I went for drinks, which weren't that good, so theres nothing about the place that really wants me to go back and give it a second chance. I haven't tried their food so I can't speak to that, but if you're going for drinks, there are lots of places close by that have a wider variety of beverages with better ambiance.

I have driven past this little restaurant for years and finally I decided to try it because I had a taste for pollo saltado. Unfortunately, it wasn't on the menu. Camarones saltado was, so I ordered it. Aaaaannnnnndddddd, it's a one and done for me. It lacked flavor. All the flavor. Their menu was plentiful. Nothing really caught my eye. But, something may catch yours. I didn't see any real seating inside the restaurant, except for 3 chairs at the bar and outdoor picnic tables next to the restaurant. Read other reviews. Maybe someone else had a better experience. Good luck.

I've been to a couple of Bolivian restaurants in the D.C area. Unfortunately this is probably one of my least favorites, although it is still decently okay. To start off, the service was rather slow despite it being a slow day or time when I went. It was difficult to get the waiters attention. I usually go for the Silpancho when I go to Bolivian type restaurants and this is the first time I had a cinnamon type taste on my steak. Overall it was a very mediocre experience. There are several other Bolivian restaurants I would recommend before checking this one out, but if you are in the area I would try it out.
