I’m not gonna lie this small chicken sandwich being $11 is wild. It was good but not worth the price. The brisket was alright, I wish it was a bit more moist. Just fyi those two slices of brisket is $9. I understand market prices but I thought I would mention it.

As a former Texan, it’s truly the best BBQ in the DMV. We showed up right before close and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating in making us feel welcome and not pushing us out. Highly recommend!!

I ordered Smothered Ribs with Greens Potato Salad and Cornbread as my side! Lemonade to drink! Food was prepared in a timely manner. Awesome price! Worst potato salad I've ever had. It was watery with big chunks of nasty potatoes and pickles. The flavor was too tart to my liking. Greens were fair. Ribs was cooked well but miss smoked flavoring. What enjoyed most was the cornbread.Cornbread was perfect!!

Ordered catering for 60 and the food was WONDERFUL!! Pick up was super easy, they loaded up my car and provided all the silverware and things you need for a super delicious and easy meal! Will absolutely be ordering again!

Everything is always perfect. I come here 7 times a year whenever I visit from nyc. I have never had a better experience or food in my life. It's so nice and sincerely a great experience every time. The only other time I have had a brisket that compares to a friend's wedding when they hired a celebrity chef to bbq for their wedding .

Updating my old birthday review with a Thanksgiving rave!Ordered smoked turkey and the fixins' from Sloppy Mama's and it was perfect!Have to resist drinking the gravy by itself ;-)Sloppy Mama's catered my surprise birthday party organized by my wife as she knows I love their BBQ! The setup was perfect, saving her at least that part of party organization, and laid out in such a way everyone easily enjoyed sandwiches and sides - all winning raves from guests unfamiliar with Sloppy Mama's. Now they know!Bottomline: Sloppy Mama's BBQ is the best, hands down, and having them cater your event is a lifesaver.All highly recommended!
