Loved this place! We're visiting in laws and stopped here with our 10 month old. Recommend the octopus, the Mediterranean platter, green salad and the gyro!! Service was amazing!!

Our organization has been coming here every Memorial Day weekend for 8 years it has never been anything short of exemplary. This year was the same. There were 25 of us. They accommodated us easily, the service was outstanding, and every item on the menu was absolutely delicious. Make sure to save room for dessert! We genuinely feel treated like family there. Thank you for consistent excellence!

This place was great. I forgot to take pics but the food was fresh and very good. It was a little pricey but that's the area too. Definitely recommend. If I go back I'll grab pics and be more thorough.

I spent 5 years in DC AND THIS WAS MY GO TO DINNER SPOT 3x a week. Heading back tomorrow to celebrate an old friends confirmation and wouldn't miss Athena Pallas for the world!

Excellent. Food, customer service, ambiance, and oh yeah, the FOOD! The pork chops are magical, the fish is spectacular, and the lamb exquisite. And then the incredible appetizers... You'll be a mighty happy camper when you're done.

we were in arlington and been told of the restaurant so decided to check it out. the restaurant was very big but there seemed to be few wait staff. the staff that were there were very friendly and hospitable we started with the hummus trio and got complimentary bread. the bread was really good and tasted homemade - the hummus was also good and it came with pita but the homemade bread was better. we then got the greek salad, the kabobs, and the greek sampler with a variety of dishes. the portion size was big and everything tasted really good. standouts were the spanikopita and the moussaka. the veggies on the side were average overall good food, big portions and friendly staff

Stayed nearby in Crystal City and found this quiet gem - cute outdoor seating for when weather is nice. We were a group of 14 and they did great - seems to be a husband and wife team In the dining room. We requested 3 baclava orders as starters and enjoyed dessert as an appetizer! Meatballs were amazing and I was happy with all meals. Pasta, souvlaki, salads, everyone was happy. Service was simple yet right on - try this place!

I've dined at The Athena Pallas Restaurant several times over the past decade. The food is okay and reasonably priced. Even the limited wine list isn't overly expensive. The place is tied and really needs a facelift. The servers go through the motions and I am not sure if they ever react to a customer comment whether a compliment or complaint. My last visit was for dinner and I ordered the Lamb Kebab. The lamb was cooked fine and also on the skewer were green peppers and onions. The bed of rice was dry and tasteless, and the side vegetable of string beans in tomato broth was terrible. I've come to realize this place isn't good for dinner. But a Gyros or Souvlaki sandwich at lunchtime is the way to go!

This gem is amazing! The staff are super friendly. The atmosphere is very charming. Warm bread is delicious. The House Red wine is very good. The spanakopita appetizer is light and flaky and very tasty. The moussaka comes with a bowl of freshly ground parmesan cheese and I would for sure order this meal again! My husband chose the seafood combination of scallops, shrimp and calamari in white wine sauce. He loved it! We will for sure be back the next time we're in the area.

I have going here for over 15 years. Still best Grerk dishes in town great prices and a simple elegance with linen table cloth and napkins. Great portions. True Greek cuisine with a lot of parking in the back.

Really enjoyed the meal! Hummus was awesome! Gyro was excellent! Tzatziki was very authentic Greek! Baklava was ok. Mom and pop place - so service was ok but a tad slow. Our server may have fought w Alexander the Great. Highly recommended!

We ordered takeout here and wow, it was SO. GOOD. We went a little overboard with ordering but loved everything we got: saganaki, feta and dolmades plate, pastitsio, moussaka, lamb kebab, tzatiki, and rice pudding. The bread that came with the order--pita bread and a crusty white bread--were also delicious. We loved the side of green beans that came with the entrees. And everything was very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. This is definitely going in our regular rotation!

This restaurant is a real hidden gem. It's a fine dining experience with with linen napkins and table cloths but with family friendly prices and portions. My wife had the half chicken. It was de-boned with crispy skin yet very juicy. I had the combination of 5 traditional Greek specialties and it was way more than I could eat. I'm so looking forward to eating my leftovers. Yum!

This is a fantastic traditional Greek restaurant with all your classic Greek dishes. I had the best moussaka I've ever eaten and my wife ate the broiled pork chops. The we perfectly flame grilled with a nice char but still very juicy. Both meals included fresh country style green beans. We finished off the meal with a slice of almond creme cake. So yummy (but not on the menu so you have to ask for eat).

I had barely sat down and the employee that greeted me, Eleftherios, was strikingly friendly. I arrived a bit early before my friends and he spent the time between attending to the restaurant by asking me about myself and my friends. Eleftherios is not only one of the friendliest and most welcoming hosts I have met in months but it is very clear he cares for his customers and wants them to feel at home and appreciated. You just don't find hospitality like that very often. He has a lot of passion for his restaurant. I don't often leave reviews for restaurants (good or bad) unless it was memorable or something stood out to me, but I feel like the mention is deserved. (I did ask Eleftherios how to spell his name though, I wanted to make sure I got it right )
