Had been away for a while (I used to to their affiliated restaurant Burger Delite before it closed) but had been craving a good half smoke forever. Ahhh...just like old times!! The smokes are still great and I had my long time comfort food, a fried bologna, egg & cheese on toast and some potato wedges. The place is still a precision clockwork machine and the prices are still affordable even in these times. Because it closes a 6 PM I can only make it there on Saturdays (or the occasional doctor's appointment day) but it is still one of my cherished spots. Long live Weenie Beenie1!!!

Fully loaded chili halfsmoke is literally addictive. And the cheeseburger royal is like biting into America. Prices are also great, just an all around great to go little restaurant.

The lady at the window was lovely. Best turkey club I've ever had! I brought home the half smoke with everything on it for my husband and, he devoured it. Highly recommend!

Gotta get some fresh bread. My hamburger bun almost sliced my lip. Cmon now. This is a staple in Shirlington but I've seen places slip. Maybe the hidden word is you don't get the burgers. Tried it three times at lunch and buns lack life.

Listen, the guy that gave this place 1 star... he's right. And the people that have it 5 stars...they're right too. The food sucks. It's greasy and not fresh. But I still go whenever I'm driving by and I'm hungry. I miss places like this. Especially, around here. It's open early. It's fast. It's cheap. The menu is big. The guy who runs it is unique. It's a greasy cheap dive with no redeeming features other than it's a cheap dive with no redeeming features. Enjoy it before someone puts condos up.

I'm coming out of semi-retirement to complain about Weeni Beenie. The hotdog was only marginally less revolting than the half-smoke, meaning the hotdog deserves a 3 out of 10 and the half-smoke deserves a 2 out of 10. My sense is they were days old and I took one bite of ancient inventory. In any case, they both ended up in the trash, where they belong. This place is disgusting.

I love Weenie Beenie. The flamboyant signage does not disappoint, as they have fantastic hot dogs (get the half-smoke with chili and everything on it) and onion rings. Nothing beats going there on a nice summer afternoon after a hike or walk and grubbing out on a half-smoke with lemonade.
Great sandwich spot. Breakfast sandwiches are awesome also. Been around a very long time for a reason!!

Sometimes you just need a greasy, no frills, flavorful hot dog and by god this is the place to do it. A perfectly slivered and grilled half smoke, soft cheap bun, and all the fixings for under $3. I will never again skip this joint (unless it inevitably gives me food poisoning)

This place is terrible. I try it out because it looked busy but it’s a bunch of day labors looking for work.I ordered the Italian Cold cut that was nothing but cheap Bologne and cheese. The fries are ok chili straight out of a can.Not worth 15 bucks!

Solid snack shack. There is the reason the Foo Fighters wrote a song with Weenie Beenie as the title. The service was quick, but I would say that the building itself is a little rundown. I think it's almost necessary though to appear the way it does. We got a hot dog and fries. The hot dog was ok, but we only got ketchup so others would eat too. I bet if you get a hot dog with the works or a chili dog it would be great! The fries were potato wedges and actually really good in my opinion. A single hot dog and fries was pretty expensive though. It was fun to try but don't think I'll be going back.
