This is a Nepali themed restaurant that serve yak meat in NOVA. The ambience is like a luxury place and staff is also kind and friendly. Radish pickle and sweet rice deep fried bread was served complimentary. The food took so much time to come that i ate the complimentary bread with pickle itself. The food wasn’t great. The stuffing in chicken momo’s was not soft and was sort of chewy. The sauce served with momos was not at all spicy with completely ruined the taste of it. Another thing was kale chat which i guess i will never order. It was so raw, with not much dressing on top. Felt very bad after tasting it there. Not at all suggesting if you love spicy or flavorful food

Cocktails are too expensive for what it is. Over $40 for two mediocre cocktails, update your pay system to traditional print and sign… why should anyone pay 20% minimum on two cocktails almost $40 therefore ~$8 tip just for two drinks and for what… was too lazy to input a custom amount. Value just isn’t there. Blue ridge is better. Their food is also overpriced for what you get.

Hidden gem. Amazing food. Enjoyed everything we ordered. Service is very good, they run this restaurant like a well oiled machine. Everyone has a job to do and they do it extremely well. Will be back. Love it.

Having been here a few times for cocktails, finally ordered some food items. The yak dumplings were Amazing. Fantastic flavor, the sauce with them was incredibly flavourful and very good. We also tried a yak steak, which was a first for both of us. It was not our favorite. Being sous vide for 36 hours I expected pot roast level tenderness but unfortunately it was still very tough and a little gamey. Didn't seem to have much else going on either, so will skip that next time. The cocktails have been solid each time. The smoked old fashioned and the Manhattan both are agreed in barrels and served at the bar, taste great and great value!Service was a little slow on our last visit but it was past closing time(took a while to get our check) and seemed like he had nobody else helping him(it was a Wednesday evening). Will go back again, but will try some new food items.Parking: Lots of garage parking very close.

Not the place for vegetarians. Items were average with little to no salt and quantity for the price is just ridiculous.

"Himalayan Wild Yak is a hidden gem nestled in Brambleton Plaza! ?️ The menu offers a delightful fusion of Nepalese flavors, from crispy kale chat to tender yak ribs. Each dish is a culinary journey through the Himalayas, bursting with authentic spices and vibrant colors. The service is warm and attentive, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Don't forget to try their signature cocktails like the Fragrant Lavender for a refreshing twist, or the Himalayan Manhattan!? Highly recommend for anyone seeking a unique culinary adventure in Ashburn??️"

First time trying Nepali food. It is a mix of Chinese and Indian food. To me, For the Indian like dishes/ flavors, I would say that they tasted better than Indian food. The curry goat was excellent. I’m not a fan of goat but my Jamaican husband said it’s one the best tasting curry goat he had. He wants to go back to just eat curry goat again. Food was good and I would go back to try other dishes again.
