Got a M iced Stormsbrew + pimento egg tart for a little over $10—I used to be a Starbucks frequenter, so I wasn't surprised by the price. But the quality was much higher than a chain store, that's for sure! Both items were really good (though I wish my egg tart had been heated up for longer!). Will definitely be back here when I'm in the area!

Was really excited for this place. ordered the perculator drink and it was just cold brew with cream, zero sweetness, no taste of maple syrup or condensed milk. I got a breakfast sandwich and it was alright. I mean the sausage is so small compared to the bagel, just a really bad ratio. And the egg was just egg white, I wish they told me that.

I love perk!!!! The coffee is great, the atmosphere is perfect for meeting friends. The orange scone, divine!Parking: Depending on the time of day parking can be a challenge. There are a number of businesses, a pharmacy, and a restaurant that all share the same lot. And that's good because it shows a demand for the products and services! The spaces themselves are narrow spots.

Stopped by while visiting a friend in Richmond, solely based on Google and yelp reviews. Adding my own to affirm - breakfast bagel was delicious, the bagel itself was super yum and the egg, cheese, and bacon were all great. Made a very satisfying sandwich. Got a vanilla latte and it was also delish. Love a local place, and this delivered. Was very crowded and seating is limited, but we were getting to go

What is love?Is it a loved one caring for us as we give our last dying breath? The eternal wagging of a neutered dog's tail as it dotes on it's master? To that I give a resoundingNO!Love is Perk, Perk is love. Get that in your head.Try their coffee, I think it'll caffeinate you.

I'm not sure what the hype is about this place. It is not a cozy, relaxing coffee shop you could sit down and relax in. The place is pure chaos. There's stuff everywhere, some for sale, some looked like supply storage for their operations just out and about where customers are. The "children's area" is definitely not somewhere I'd let my child play, again it is crammed into a corner and quite a mess. Everyone raved about the vegan options, but they weren't that good compared to other spots in the area and they charge extra for everything vegan. I got 2 small pastries, an oat milk latte that tasted awful and a bagel w vegan cream cheese. This ran me $20 and the only thing I enjoyed was the bagel. Would not visit again when there are so many better options nearby.

I go go Perk most Saturdays. They have a bagel called the works that I get with smoked salmon that is absolutely delicious. It has capers and red onions and huge tomatoes. That said I absolutely hate ordering from here for a few reasons. #1 it usually takes about 25-30 minutes to get an order for two bagels and two coffees. Not the end of the world but I can usually get a well done steak at a nice restaurant in the same about of time. #2 they have online ordering but it has been turned off most times I have tried it. I thought it could be because they are too busy to accept them at the time but the dozens and dozens of times I’ve gone in there has never been more than three people in line. Seeing that they don’t appear to be busy I’ve tried to do online ordering while in line at the store and it has remained turned off.#3 they will not accept phone take out orders when online ordering is turned off. This one was confusing to me as I’ve never had a restaurant refuse letting me make a takeout order. I tried a few times to see if it was a fluke but it appears to be a policy.#4 30% of the time I order an everything bagel they are out.#5 they don’t give you your order all at once if you order coffee and food unless you order ahead of time online. Not the end of the world but I have to go up twice to the counter to pick up my coffee and then back 20 minutes later to get my bagels. That basically means my wife gets cold coffee when I bring the order home.#6 no delivery options. I probably wouldn’t even know about any of these other relatively small issues if I could just order the food to be delivered.Update 11/11/2023 tried ordering Perk online at 9:35. Online ordering was turned off. Tried calling went straight to voicemail . Ordering Maple street biscuit.Update 11/12/2023 9:41 online ordering is unavailable.11/19/2023 9:47. Online ordering unavailable.

By far my favorite local coffee shop! Their specialty drinks are great and the few food items I’ve tried have all been very good. The shop itself is super cozy.Only critique is twice I think we’ve had errors with our drinks (out of MANY visits, so in itself not a big deal) and the staff immediately got very stand-offish when we politely brought up that we thought there may have been a mistake. Like pretty much straight up said nope we were wrong instead of just fixing the issue or remaking the drink and made us feel like the biggest inconvenience. I like the shop enough otherwise that we will keep going back, but it’s a bummer to know they don’t particularly care if something is wrong.

The perfect neighborhood coffee shop. The staff are so incredibly friendly, the grocery is full of interesting little tidbits, the food is delectable, and most importantly, the coffee is terrific.Dietary restrictions: Very easy to substitute both in person and online ordering and there are always vegan and gluten free options in the case.Kid-friendliness: Open play area in the back with coloring books, picture books, toys, and seating for parents.

Went here on a Sunday since Cafespresso is closed on that day. The light roast coffee here is very high quality and well brewed. The bagel breakfast sandwich is delicious as well. Great price at just under $8 for the coffee and sandwich. Wi-Fi speeds are fast around 60-70 Mbps download/upload. This is one of the best cafes in Richmond and certainly appreciated on the west side of the city where parking is easy.

I deliver to many places in Richmond but this place hands down takes the cake and is my favorite stop! Not only are their food and drinks amazing but the ladies behind it all are as well!
