Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The food was served at the correct temperature with the salad being cold and the rolls hot. We enjoyed everything about our visit and will be returning in the future. The waitress was efficient and very polite and professional.

I was there with a big work party and I was happy that the service did not disappoint even with that many people. The bartender served and tended the bar without any problems. The food was appetizers for us, but it was great and they made vegetarian swaps.Vegetarian options: Their spinach dip is actually vegetarian! Yaaaaay! No meat broths!

I stopped by about a week ago, about 1/3 of the way into a 15-hour trip. O'Charley's has proved itself a reliable, rewarding bet time and again since I first tried on some 15 years ago. For the uninitiated, O'Charley's is basically your ordinary "casual American" restaurant, but its items have a somewhat generic "deep South" flair which set them apart, such as pickle chips and the Louisiana Sirloin. Most restaurants feature a unique mural that tells you something about the city where the restaurant was founded. The complimentary rolls and butter are, in my opinion, the best-tasting in the business. At the Bristol location I tried the pork chops with french fries and cole slaw. They were up to O'Charley's usual standards. The mural was also interesting. The complimentary wi-fi was working, which is nice when you're traveling alone and still have to make hotel reservations. I was however a little disappointed in the rolls, the not-so-hot tea, and the server, who acted a little too much in a hurry to get me out of the restaurant once I was done. I'm not sure why, as it was well before closing time and the restaurant wasn't at all busy. As for the rolls, they seemed a little under-baked, and the glaze I've come to know at every other O'Charley's wasn't there. They weren't bad! They just weren't what I was used to. The cushioning on the booth chair also seemed a bit worn down. I'll probably stop here again sometime, since I'm sure the trouble was just a one-time thing. I'd like to give it 4 stars because it was the first time I tried the pork chops, and they were really good! But I can't quite bring myself to do that after the rolls, the tea, and the server. Sorry.

We stopped into this location for lunch for the first time. We tried the seafood platter, the chicken tenders and the chicken tender nachos. The fried food was all overcooked and, therefore, dry. The Cole slaw would have been pretty good if it hadn’t been served in a very hot dish that caused it to heat up and discolor the outside edges of the slaw. A cold side like that should never be served in a 145 degree dish. The nachos were good and about the best thing we were served. Overall, this was a mediocre restaurant with food that is not worth a second trip.

Got the ribs and pork chop combo. Ribs were actually tender, but both just had a ton of cheap bottled BBQ sauce just thrown on top. It would have been so much better just glazed during cooking (like shown in the picture) and a bit more on top at the end. Even a chain restaurant should have a tasty sauce. Waitress was nice, but did originally bring the wrong order out to my friend. They did fix the order quickly.

I love the management Amanda and Vicki have taken care of us since they were in Johnson City. I have the steak or ribs and both are so good. Hubs loves the tenders and fries. A three is for the servers some of them not all of them are just plain awful. The food makes up for the bad server.

This used to be a great place to eat. My sweet potatoes were cold, lumpy, and old. The server was dressed in street clothes but he was nice to us. The chicken tenders were as good as they always have been. I had broccoli with no seasoning, and balsamic chicken with no flavor.

Was served raw steak not once but two times in one visit. Then my first review vanishes.

The food was pretty good but the server was not. We told her when we ordered it for that we would get an order to go when ours came out. A different person brought the food and our server never came back to fill drinks or check on us until she brought the check. Then we had to wait on the to go order to be made. We asked for 2 sweet teas to go since she hadn't refilld our glasses all night and she gave us 2 iced coffees?!? At least that's what we think it was. Otherwise the food itself was very good.

My neighbor asked me to join her for drinks & dinner. I don't frequent chain restaurants & my visit here reminded me of why. We sat at the bar. Although no one had been sitting there when we walked in, the bartender had to clean the surface when we sat down. We ordered drinks & my neighbor ordered an appetizer sampler while I ordered the fried seafood platter. She nibbled on the sampler. I tried one of her fried cheese wedges. The outside was sickly pale & not crunchy. There wasn't much flavor. On my platter, the shrimp were quite salty - I didn't eat many. The mini deviled crab were all breading - again, I didn't eat but one. Thankfully, the fish was surprisingly good & I ate 2 pieces. I selected the sweet potato casserole for my side & it was awful - didn't eat that either. I actually ate something out of my fridge when I arrived home. I definitely won't be returning to this restaurant!

I have two favorites. Is one of the best steak I have had. We enjoyed every course of the meal. Friendly staff, remember faces, make sure you received everything as ordered, very clean, and always specials. Food preparation as well as presentation are wonderfully implemented. Able to make everyone happy with wide selections. One of our favories.
