On Sunday my husband and I entered the restaurant and were put on the waitlist at 12:56.There were five people sitting on the bench waiting to be seated and some people were on the patio. The lady told us our wait would be 20 minutes. While we were waiting the party of four, we’re getting very agitated because their wait was long and the hostess had not put them on the list. They needed up leaving. We were sat before the person who was a single. I told the hostess that she was there before us and she snapped at me and said “I have your table ready now if you want it”. We followed her to the table, the server came by and told us she would be back to get us as soon as she could. When she came back, she looked very tired and overwhelmed. We told her we knew what we wanted and ordered. When the food came out (we both got the smoked turkey platter) it had a mustard sauce on it. This is what we alway order and we knew it wasn’t right. So after about 10 minutes she came back by and I stopped her to tell her our food was wrong. My husband was eating his side items (I was not because they were wrong as well). She apologized and told me she would get it corrected. We told her to pack them to go, because at this point we had already been here for an hour. She corrected the situation, packed our food and took our payment. Now with this being said, this is in no way the servers fault. She was not the one who brought our food out, the food runner brought it to the table. So he either didn’t know his menu (to know that sauce didn’t come on the turkey) or he didn’t read the check. In the hour we were there, we got no table visit from management to apologize for the long wait, much less the mistake from the kitchen.I understand all restaurants are short handed, over worked and overwhelmed. I also know that with today’s economy, people can’t afford to go out to eat and get things that are uneatable or unwanted. Please restaurant owners/managersTake your time and show some pride in your product, most people do not mind the wait as long as the food is good.

This is by far the best restaurant I've had in Bristol. Service was excellent and the food was on par.
Dietary restrictions: No decaf coffee to go with brunch, allergy to caffeine products. Restaurant more interested in bar drinks.Kid-friendliness: Not really, booths too large for average adults let alone children.

Prices going up, portions going down. The food is always good and the service is decent, but it’s to the point of hardly being worth the cost.

It’s been a loooong time since I’ve had a meal that was nearly inedible. Their only vegetarian option here (the eggplant and mushroom entree) was so disgusting I couldn’t even force it down. Even ordered the eggplant fries and there was literally zero flavor. Didn’t even come with the sauces it’s advertised to come with. It took forever to get the food. Was a two and a half hour experience and the waitress was in such a hurry to put the entree orders in before we even received our drinks. My entire family who has some vegetarians in it used to come here all the time when they had the plant based sausage on the menu!

This past weekend we made our trip to our favorite hotel in Bristol Virginia the sessions they have a restaurant that’s on site that we would go to called Southern craft barbecue now for some reason this particular establishment it seems like every time we’ve been there there’s been a problem Except for the first time everything was good we had appetizers last year during the summer. We took our two granddaughters with us and we got a junior suite and we went down to the restaurant. I think everybody’s meal was OK. I ordered the half chicken, which was dry they were out of bread, so I had no Texas toast with my meal. They gave me only two thin, sliced marinated pickles, the second time we were there we had called down to order some appetizers and the phone rang rang rang rang rang. We go downstairs and start walking toward the restaurant, and the two hostesses are outside, where a car pulled up with a load of their friends in it and they were out there just talking and laughing and giggling and having a good old time while they’re supposed to be inside working and answering the phones, we wanted the chicken wings and they were out of them so we went somewhere else. this past weekend We tried them again we ordered the wings with celery and blue cheese, they told us 15 minutes we went down to get them and they were not ready for pick up. after I paid for our order, that’s when they told me they had no celery after I’d already paid And I said well put carrots in there they said, we don’t carry carrots in our kitchen. Here is what we found when we got back to the room the wings were burnt-dry-no celery and the blue cheese cheese was so thin you could pour it that’s totally gross watered down totally so we’re thinking from now on we won’t be back to that southern craft location in Bristol, We will eat dinner and appetizer somewhere else. I will post a picture of the wings and then the wings that I got from the same company in Greenville. What a big differencewe love the southern craft at Greenville
