Waited for about 14 minutes to order prior to waiting and hour and 15 minutes for a burger and kids meal. Upon receiving the food the fries were cold and the cashier told us it had just been a night. Service was trash as no one really gave any attention to the guest. The bathrooms are unsanitary and out of soap. Trash cans are over flowing and the floors are a mess.

I order two burgers with mayo lettuce onion and pickle and had to repeat order twice at speaker. When I got order they had ketchup pickle and onion.... I couldn't turn around and go back ..it frustrating

wanted to eat in but staffing shortage nixed this...ordered burger and fries and shakes..food was good as always BUT when we got to the window the sign said Sorry..no plastic straws due to plastic shortage...WHAT???? how are you supposed to drink a shake...oh heres your plastic spoon...RIDICULOUS...we stopped at the gas station and got straws...no shortage there

The food was excellent!! The workers on 9/27/21 @ 9:30ish were on top of it!! Our food was hot and crispy. And the young gentleman working the window was very helpful and a polite. For 5 meals that's with fries and drinks (My mom was with us this night ?) we paid less than most fast food restaurants for 4 meals with fries and drinks.

I usually really enjoy Steak ‘n Shake. However today the floors were covered in food. There was a soda spill in the booth behind me that they just left and it was even dry and sticky on the booth. All the tables were covered in food and sticky stuff from milkshakes. I had to wash my own table with soap and paper towels from the bathroom. I waited 30 minutes on my food and even when I got my order they didn’t have straws (I had a small child with me which was an issue). They didn’t have seasoning salt. All around awful experience today.

I haven't been to a steak n shake in many years, and am severely disappointed to learn that they no longer will serve cherry shakes of asked for specifically. The original steakburger wasn't up to what I had loved in the past but it was not bad. The fries were delicious as usual but we're not hot or fresh tasting. Will go again but with less expectation!

Understaffed so a long wait in the drive thru. Ordered three sandwiches, two were not correct. Fries were not hot. Flavor of the burgers was good.

Yesterday was the first time I dined inside Steak N Shake in well over a year. The set up is very different than it was before. You, now order and pay at the front counter. They call your name when your order is ready. There are no waitstaff. All condiments, napkins, etc. Are at the front in individual packets, instead of in containers on the tables. If you have a gift card or rewards on their app, you should open it before stepping inside. I had trouble with opening apps or doing anything on my phone inside.
