Walked in this afternoon after seeing the "Fudgery" sign outside the shop. We were greeted by two counters of fudge in a couple of dozen flavors. Tony offered us samples of a few of our options. After some deliberation, we got chocolate and salted caramel (and a cup of coffee). Even if you aren't a fudge aficionado, I'd recommend that you give it a look.

There is a sign advertising fudge for $16.99 for a pound and a half, which they inform you is six pre-cut squares. My friend and I each got a pound and a half and were each charged $25.50. We were each given different reasons (by the same person) for this price. She was told $16.99 was if all squares were the same flavor, even though the sign says that you can get up to six varieties for that price. I was told it was the weight of my squares “and the weight of the box”. This felt really dishonest and I would not return. I wish they were more transparent in their pricing and honored their advertised price. Really disappointing experience.

I wish I could give it 10 stars! This is the best place to go for a treat. The ice cream is delicious with unique & classic flavors, the fudge has the best consistency, all the other treats have been great. The staff & owner are always so friendly! The best atmosphere. There are toys & fun games.

I'm a strong believer that ice cream parlors should be open late and I am so happy that the southern churn closes late because I was craving for some good ice cream. We went to Southern Churn before dinner and just grabbed some chocolates. Just an FYI they don't make their chocolates but I believe it's also made locally, I just forgot the company name. They have a lot of cool knick knacks in this store. They also have a jelly beans wall where you can get a bunch of jelly beans. The way the parlor was laid out was very cozy and relaxing. It's a nice hang-out spot. We then returned after dinner, I ended up ordering a banana split. I was so happy because they made the banana split and I was able to take photos of it before they had to put a lid on it since I was taking it home. We had the banana split at home and boy did we finish that. It was by far one of the best banana splits I've had. Their ingredients were very tasty and I like that they put all the ingredients of a banana split except peanuts. All in all, this is a great ice cream spot. Highly recommend.

This is a fabulous ice cream and fudge shop. The flavors cover a wide assortment, and they have seasonal flavors that rotate.Everything tastes like they are homemade and from scratch, and you couldn't ask for better prices for the top quality offerings. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating, offering samples to help you decide. I ended up getting their 6 scooper, which was under 10 dollars. The environment is family friendly, and there are a ton of cool toys and other types of candy and knick knacks you can take to go on the road.5 Stars ? RatingKid-friendliness: It's like eating ice cream at a carnival without the rides or dancing bears.

Update: We returned and got a banana split with strawberry, superman, and chocolate ice cream. It was awesome. My kids got milkshakes again (this time cookie dough and black cherry). Brought my dad to experience the ice cream and he loved it. He got a chocolate milkshake. We had a great time enjoying the atmosphere. The banana split was absolutely amazing. My kids got milkshakes (1 oreo, strawberry). They loved them. Will definitely be back
