BEWARE. COCKROACHES!!! were in my beef bone soup. It's most horrible experience i have ever had in my life. it's disgusting and unsanitary. Thinking of it makes me sick. This place should be inspected for health sanitation . I have been here before for lunch but NEVER again. YUCK!!!

My go to Korean place when I don't feel like going to Annandale. Their fried dumplings, cold spicy buckwheat noodle, and shrimp kapangi are my go to orders. The staff are always kind and patient. They are fast and of course taste delicious.

Good place for takeout, I have enjoyed everything that I have ordered from them. The gimbap is really good and so is the bibimbap.

K-Town used to my favorite Korean food for easy lunch or dinner whether eating while shopping or takeout. However, the price had exceeded the local Korean restaurant price and quality has gone down. Reduced the rating to 3 Stars.

I love the spicy beef soup!

Portion was large and really filling. Rice was cold and dry. Meat was highly seasoned but not very tasty on its own. Most likely won't go again.

Ok, had my doubts, but this place is the bomb! Yeah, it's in a supermarket, yeah, it's not huge, but this is straight up true Korean ! The ladies behind the counter are no nonsense, friendly but not there to gossip. Lol, great authentic Korean food, served quickly and without the frills. I'll be back!

Who would've thought that one of the best Korean restaurants would be found right inside an H-mart?! If you're having one of those evenings where you just want some solid Korean food but not in the mood for anything in particular, come to Hmart. The selection is diverse and the food is fresh, plentiful, and you'll even kill two birds with one stone by getting groceries too. As for specifics, the hwedupbap is excellent and the jjolmyun is great too. They're both fresh and different even with the gochujang sauce, and I can't wait until I'm back to try some of their other menu items.

This place is a FIVE stars for one simple reason, the food is incredible! Prices are more so reasonable for the portions too. The soups are made of broth, not water. The fried food is always white, not dark cause the oil changed and not just topped off. I never had any problem with the staff or service cause I treat them with respect. They can make any anything more or less spicy, just need to ask. They're always sanitizing when I visit.

Their food taste been going down year after year. Don't bother going. I couldn't even finish a quarter of the food I order, because its was more of a torture than enjoyment. It tasted way too sour and sweet at same time.

A good Korean restaurant in the back of the Korean supermarket? Yes please! Good solid Korean food at reasonable prices. Soups and stews are the best, pretty solidly authentic with rich flavors and good ingredients. Noodles, especially the cha chiang myun noodles were wanting, the sauce a bit weakly flavored and a tiny bit watery. Very extensive menu and I guess it makes sense because you are in a grocery store and have access to all ingredients. That said, I think they would do better narrowing the menu just a little and specializing in a few items. Ambience and service are obviously not great given that you're in the back of a store, but you go for the authentic food served up by real Korean grandmas. There is also a variety of prepackaged foods and house made side dishes for lunch on the run or just for stocking up the house. Recommended.

Their food was great! I ordered the seafood pancake, poke bowl and black bean paste noodle. The seafood pancake was fresh made, it was super crispy. Poke bowl come with rice on the rice, it was huge portion too. The black bean paste sauce was pretty good, the noodle part was okay, I had ate better noodle at other place before. Overall it was still very good, my husband said they are better than Yechon.

I love this place!!! When im on my way home after a late afternoon class at Mason I love stopping here for dinner. The young girl who is cashier some nights is so sweet! All the older ladies here are so hospitable and the food is always delicious.
