A local favorite! Spartans is one of those places that makes you feel like home when you go there. Whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Spartans doesn't disappoint.If you go for breakfast, I highly recommend the Stuffed Challah with Cream Cheese as you won't be hungry for the rest of the day. Since it was Good Friday, my husband and I thought we would go somewhere close by to grab dinner. We invited our son. We all had mon-meat items and the food was mediocre. I would not recommend. For $87.00 I would definitely not recommend. I was very disappointed and my thought is "one and done ". We've eaten here prior and it was good but I do believe in my opinion it was a disappointment. The waitress was nice but in the weeds....with only 5 or 6 tables.

A Burke classic! I have always loved this place- they are friendly, reliable, no-frills, but great food. My favorites on the menu are the pizza (must try), the lamb gyro, and the entire breakfast menu on the weekends. Their takeout operation is super convenient which is nice but I enjoy dining in because it's so cozy inside!

A Burke establishment, which I have been going to since childhood. Food is consistent, the place is clean, and the prices are reasonable. Always call ahead to make reservations, or order carry-out as they get VERY busy at peak meal hours. Service is always great, very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Parking is plenty as it is in a shopping complex.

Not a great experience tonight, the waitress was totally having a vibe of not wanting to have us there for dinner tonight, I'm guessing because we came in an hour before closing . Anyhow both my dishes, the mozzarella sticks which I order at restaurants because I always feel they always turn out better at restaurants because of the professional fryer than when I cook them at home, not this time though. I only took 2 stars away because usually they come out excellent and nice cheese pull. Another thing that I ordered was the Greek wings, which were not bad but it seemed like all the lemon sauce was at the bottom of the plate and not a drizzle on top which is how I have always received them . What a disappointment. I really live Spartans but seems like quality consistency is down.

I like the food here, and their people are always kind and attentive. However, About 50% of our carry out orders have me waiting in excess of 45 minutes beyond the estimated ready time. I have had to wait more than an hour beyond the estimated ready time several times.

I have always loved Spartans . However, a recent trip there they served premade Calimari where the breading chips off while eating . The onion and green pepper pizza had very very sparse toppings . Some slices had no green pepper on it . Will not return due to low quality for the price .

I tried this because it appeared on a list as one of the best gyro places in NOVA. It might be considered the top 10, but not because it's good but rather a lack of competition for gyros in the NOVA area. Theres only a couple places I've tried in NOVA which offered better gyros than here. Most of the competition for gyros here is places like halal guys or other places offering gyros in a fast casual setting. The problem with gyros is most places use prepackaged pita bread and gyro meat. Some places dont even cook the gyro meat on the rotating spit, instead just frying it in a pan. I did not like the french fries nor the baklava. The fries tasted the same as any frozen grocery store french fries and were too soggy. The baklava, tasted normal. Not bad, but it tasted the same as baklava you can sometimes find at costco or other grocery stores. The gyro meat was disappointing and I believe the same processed gyro meat used at many other places. The only thing I really liked was the beef patty on the burger.
They added a $15 more tip when the transaction processed without me knowing. Check your statements.

Food is exceptional, reminds me of quality dining on my trips to Manhattan. And the prices are quite reasonable, and in fact, low by today’s post-inflation standards. They are holding the line on pricing at Spartans, and delivering top-quality food to their customers! Will be returning soon!

Spartan’s is a lovely restaurant. The exterior is a bit deceiving. From the outside it appears to be a run of the mill fast food shop. But inside the ambiance is surprisingly pleasant.The food is DELICIOUS. It sincerely tastes like eating authentically from Mama’s kitchen. Even the pasta alone is spectacular!?
