We came to try this place on a Monday and overall it was a great experience. The servers were really nice and kind. We did the AYCE and the tried different types of meat. The meats were fresh, high quality and delicious. The pace of the food coming out was good and we didn't feel rush. Also a former rower... so there's that ?♂️??The all you can eat options were solid especially for the price.The atmosphere was a bit more low key than some others in the area. It was super busy on a Thursday night and the 2 servers held it down for 12 tables in total for the restaurant! They were scrambling to each table flipping brisket and pork belly with a quickness. Give those boys a raise.

She was kind, attentive, came through with serving and cooking the meat to perfection, and had a great attitude while managing so many folks! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by an inviting and tastefully decorated space. It's quite apparent they've put a lot of thought into the ambience, striking the right balance between eclectic and elegant.The service here deserves a special mention. The servers are not just nice; they're attentive and quick to refill the panchan (side dishes), which my kids absolutely love. They're also quite helpful when it comes to navigating the menu, a blessing for someone trying Korean style beef intestines for the first time. And let me tell you, the beef intestines stew with soft tofu was a revelation - so clean and well-prepared. If you've ever had doubts about intestines, this place will change your mind.As for the menu, while Gopchang (beef intestines) is their specialty, they offer a variety of non-organ dishes as well. The assorted intestines, particularly the daechang and makchang, are a must-try. And if you're dining with little ones, the bulgogi rice bowl is a consistent hit. It's also worth mentioning that the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the portion sizes.However, I have to point out that during one of our weekend visits, the service did falter a bit. It was peak dinner time and they seemed short-staffed. We found ourselves having to flag down servers for assistance more often than we'd have liked. There was even a slightly uncomfortable moment involving our server and another staff member, which, despite being handled with grace by our server, did mar the experience slightly.Overall, while the food quality is on par with their Annandale location - clean and delicious - the service can be a hit or miss during busy times. Despite this, Gopchang Story has won me over, and I definitely plan on coming back, hopefully to a more smoothly running service next time.
